DizzyDutchman Great News!

According to Dutch newspapers and radio stations, various sources have confirmed that the stones will play the Goffertpark in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. on June the 7th 2007 !!!

The Stones have played here before
on June 13&14 1995

it's a very good location, just next to germany and a short distance from Belgium, it can hold 60.000 people.. and it's a very large open field surrounded by woods.

and..... it's where i live.... so no expensive hotels, or camping sites, no expensive traveling! too good to be true!!! and after the stones, i'll go to the red hot chili peppers in the Goffertpark on June 24.

Strange_Stray_Cat It's a field, so it sucks bigtime.

FotiniD Well, a field is something, and something is better than nothing!

egon i sold the car, the house & the girlfriend.

I'm ready!

jb Poor attendance last tour would make me be very cautious to think they would attempt to play Holland again....they are viewed as irrelevant there and could not fill up one 50k seat show....

Angiegirl Crap, so it IS the Goffert. Middle of nowhere, open field, sloped in the wrong direction, impossible to get back from with or without a car. It makes my day!! I think I'll pass another mass-event. Especially when it rains

jb Poor attendance guaranteed....15-25k...unless free.

And it will be raining, believe me. No Nijmegen for me.
Barcelona would be nice. Tickets for the previous one will be valid off course...

This would be the prudent course of action as Holland long ago chose U2 over the Stones.

Not anymore. And security is a bit easier for me only if they have an employee line. I hate those terrorists with the passion of a thousand burning suns.

Flying first class saves me some time as well...and the people in coach are treated like cattle...I enjoyed it when one strayed into first class and was told to go back immediately...
