I am halfway tempted to dig out my vinyl copy of Draw The Line now! I dont think I have listened to it in fifteen years! Same probably goes for Permanent Vacation though I was 14 when it came out. One Way Street is one of the last favorite songs I may stand a chance of seeing live that I have yet to.
Shorter sets can be a bummer all around for many bands though to tell you the truth most big ticket rock concerts the crowd themselves don't seem to have the energy for longer sets. Especially after some fluke my batteries died a few seconds after the last song!
Since Guns N Roses in 1988, most of the openers have been pretty bad. One exception was Cheap Trick in Jan 2002 who came out totally on fire and stayed that way for 45 mins straight, which I like to think inspired Aero to put on a better gig.
KISS was just totally lame. I used to like them, but not with a scab guitar player or playing slowed down sheet music versions of their songs. I always like pyro though. |
