stewed & Keefed Blue Blue Water

What are you doing here, man?
Why did you have to go like that?
Go like what, man? You tell me.
I don't have a clue, man, it's all a mystery.
One minute I was wet and warm
The next I'm stiff and cold
Am I really very old?

Old man? no. Less than thirty
When you quit the stage like that.
Like what, man? You tell me.
Dunno, man, some say it set your spirit free.
One minute I was full of hope
The next I'm full of water
Did I really get no quarter?

It doesn't seem so, man
Life dealt you that extra short hand.
Like what, man? You tell me.
Like a shooting star, man, I seem to see.
One minute I was here all bright
The next I've fizzled out
What was it all about?

Not fizzled out, man, you're still
In people's hearts and minds.
Like what, man? You tell me.
Like glowing lava, man, deep in the sea
One minute you burst into flame
The next you paint it, black.
I can never come back?

No, man. I can't see how
But have you really gone away?
Gone away, man? You tell me.
You're there in collective memory
Like the hottest of stones
That takes a blue eternity to die.
Forgive me...I won't say goodbye.

Staffan Damn, he looks good! I wish I had those clothes and those guitars.

Wonder if he'd be bald if he was alive now?

IMHO, I think that he would look like an older Graham Norton.

souldoggie Stewed and Keefed, great photo.

Where's that shot you posted at 11:29 from? Just wondering. And is that a Gibson?

Thanks in advance.

stewed & Keefed In late 1969, Jim Morrison wrote a poem in honour of Brian Jones

I'm a resident of a city
They've just picked me to play the Prince of Denmark
Poor Ophelia
All the ghosts he never saw, floating to doom on an iron candle

Come back, brave warrior,
Do the dive
On another channel

Hot buttered pool
Where's Marrakesh
under the Falls
the wild storm
where savages fell out
in late afternoon
monsters of rhythm

You've left your
Nothing
to compete with
Silence
I hope you went out
Smiling
Like a child
Into the cool remnant
of a dream

The angel man
with Serpents competing
for his palms
and fingers
Finally claimed

This benevolent
Soul

Ophelia

Leaves, sodden
in silk

Chlorine
dream
mad stifled
Witness

The diving board, the plunge
The pool

You were a fighter
a damask musky muse

You were the bleached
Sun
for TV afternoon

horned-toads
maverick of a yellow spot

Look now to where it's got
You

in meat heaven
w/ the cannibals
& jews

The gardener
Found
The body, rampant, floating

Lucky Stiff
What is the green pale stuff
You've made of

poke holes in the goddess
Skin

Will he Stink
Carried heavenward
Thru the halls
of music

No chance

Requiem for a heavy

That smile
That porky satyr's
leer
has leaped upward

into the loam
