glencar Angie, do you get FOX over there?
8th February 2007 04:49 PM
Joey " I watched Anna and Howard on Entertainment Tonight yesterday, and they were both out of it. I couldn't help but wonder who was taking care of that baby.
What tragic news. "

Come To Joey .................................

Angiegirl No, just CNN, but we had CNN Europe (British business show) and they broke off to join 'their sister network' CNN USA live. So that's what I'm seeing now. CNN is all the American live feeds we're getting here.

Hey, I don't think FOX would make my life any better than CNN
8th February 2007 04:53 PM
Angiegirl Lol, Dutch news just mentioned it, 30 seconds and then to the weather, whahaha.
8th February 2007 04:54 PM
Jethrostone I found out just minutes ago. Wow. It's just so shocking. Her son's death, her daughter's birth, and now she dies. It's very shocking.

LOL! I know, I've already switched the tv off. Unbelievable howe they can continue their boring 'reports' where nothing is said. Your news shows are worse than the ones on the Dutch commercial stations and that is saying something!

Bedtime anyway, 11 pm. G'night boys 'n gals.

Factory Girl I think she died from a broken heart over her son's untimely death.

She was a large piece of Americana, and I'm saddened and shocked by her death.

I wonder if her lawyer did it?

GhostofBrianJones They treated Anna Nicole like they did Marilyn Monroe. No one ever bothered
to see if she had any brains, thoughts, ideas or opinions or any damn thing.
They walked all over her, spat on her, called her filthy names and trashed her.
She never recovered over her young son's untimely death, her loss of the
money that was due to her, and being treated like a whore. She never had
a chance to even prove she was actually an intelligent woman. I hope she
did NOT take her own life. I liked her, I thought she put on a brave front
in spite of the horrible way she was always treated by the media and her
boyfriends and anyone else who got the chance to humiliate her. She could
never get away from it. I hope she finds peace and happiness because I will
miss her.

She had on her own reality show...she had all the time in the world to show how smart she was...I never saw her reading any books or moving chess pieces around

She had a good life...and was doing drugs...about all you can say about it

thank you ghost for some thoughful and sensitive perspective...
growing up in small-town texas, i KNEW the anna nicoles -
poor and without resources most of us take for granted, desperate for respect and attention...
she signified the sad truth of growing up dispossessed and poor in america.
say and think what you will,
but she meant something to a son who died tragically young and now a daughter who will never know her...
easy to be hard indeed....

Jethrostone Here's a song to play.

SHINE A LIGHT
(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

Saw you stretched out in Room Ten O Nine
With a smile on your face and a tear right in your eye.
Oh, couldn't see to get a line on you, my sweet honey love.
Berber jewelry jangling down the street,
Making bloodshot eyes at every woman that you meet.
Could not seem to get a high on you, my sweet honey love.

May the good Lord shine a light on you,
Make every song your favorite tune.
May the good Lord shine a light on you,
Warm like the evening sun.

When you're drunk in the alley, baby, with your clothes all torn
And your late night friends leave you in the cold gray dawn.
Just seemed too many flies on you, I just can't brush them off.
Angels beating all their wings in time,
With smiles on their faces and a gleam right in their eyes.
Whoa, thought I heard one sigh for you,
Come on up, come on up, now, come on up now.

May the good Lord shine a light on you,
Make every song you sing your favorite tune.
May the good Lord shine a light on you,
Warm like the evening sun.

Nice post. There's so many thoughts roaring through my mind right now. Looking back on it, my mother who died in 1971, reminds me alot of Anna Nicole. For obvious reasons I'm not going to comment on that too much, but I understand your post. (I think

One thing wrong wuth your post. She did get the cash! Her problem was that she got hounded by hangers-on like that lawyer Stern. Remember when her son died she was overheard screaming at that guy,"This is all your fault!!" To this day he has pressed to keep the details of the paternity test under wraps. That is about to come out though per court order, and he does not want the truth known. If he's not the real father then the baby(his meal ticket) will be removed, and all the hundreds of millions will go to the little girl and the real father.
