Voodoo, it's great to read that you're a Steve Marriott fan. There doesn’t seem to be too many here. I've always loved The Small Faces and used to collect their fanzine, Darlings Off Wrapping Wharf. I've gone to a couple of Small Faces conventions at The Ruskin Arms pub in East Ham, London. It used to be run by Ian Mclagans parents. As he wasn’t the original drummer, maybe I'm thinking of Jimmy Winston. I can't remember!

Many here seem to like The Faces, but not the Small Faces. Maybe it's because of the Ronnie connection, but I've never really understood it.

LOL Alex, I have expressed so many times my devotion for Steve, I love to sing like Steve when I'm DD&H, nobody can sing that way is the way to sing rock

I also was in contact with John Hellier (you must know him) for the tribute to Steve with Wood as a guest (that it didn't happen )

BTW, the album was released by John under The Darlings of Wapping Wharf Records new label, I already ordered Steve's "Rainy Changes" a 40 tracks rarities CD set

As another funny stuff, one day I arrived home late night after a jamming sessions with some friends and put some Humble Pie music while changing the header, as I was hearing "this is a tribute to the rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing stooooooooooooooooooones" from a live recording by the Pie with a cover of HTW I put this header LOL

During those days I think 1999 that was the size of the headers, that was the only header that witn no reason had a different band than the stones and it was removed a soon as I wake up the next day LOL

VoodooChileInWOnderl BTW, You can order both, the Atlanta Years by the Pie and Steve's rarities at http://www.wappingwharf.com/

VoodooChileInWOnderl and yes, some headers with Ronnie in the Faces era were taken from the fanzine "Darlings of Wapping Wharf Launderette"
