FPM C10 I sure wouldn't put either one of those in my "exquisite" list...among Bowie's incredible roster of guitar foils Pete is last in line, although he did play really well on that tour. But not quite Robert Fripp or Reeves Gabrel.

BRYAN Adams? Not RYAN Adams? Well, to each his own. Didn't even know he played guitar.

My listening list lately has been Son House and the Pogues and the new Fiona Apple album. All quite exquisite by my reckoning.

We Are Scientists - With Love and Squalor,,,can't decide whether I like it or not - but adore the single "Great Idea"

Babyshambles - Babyshambles. A grower - I also wonder whether it sounds so rough because of, or dispite of Mick Jones' production?

That's GREAT news, Martha! I am really looking forward to seeing you!

I won't be wherever the ring-kissing is going on. I'll let you know what left-wing dive we'll be hanging in, and hopefully you'll have time to pop over.

See you soon!
