Topic: what new releases are you looking forward to in '07? Return to archive Page: 1 2 3

Saint Sway couple of my favs are set to release some noise this year. What new albums are you looking forward to in '07?

• Kings of Leon......... in March!!!!

• Jason Isabell....... his 1st solo album - could be the album of the year

• Gary Louris....... Jayhawks/Golden Smog singer goes solo

• Marc Ford....... umm, so he says its coming out... we'll see...

• Mike Farris..... a favorite singer of mine. Former Screemin Cheetah Wheelie frontman. He's resurfacing after retiring from the music scene. Sounds like its gonna be more of a spiritual album. But just happy he's making music again.

• The Autumn Defense.... Wilco's John Stirratt's spin-off. Out in 2 weeks.
Check it here: http://broadmoorrecords.com

• Lucinda Williams..... just in time for Valentines

• Bobby Bare Jr...... new one set for September

• The "allmighty" Black Crowes...... their newbie drops in AUGUST! Still plenty of time left for you to hide the woman and children.....

• White Stripes... yes? no? Maybe!!

Dan Various concert DVD releases that may or may not be forthcoming. In spite of my resolution to listen to more new music, I really have no clue what is coming out but with many heavy doses of Liquid Metal on XM the past few months, my tastes are trending back toward the heavier stuff.

Jumping Jack Coop will be finishing his new CD this month as soon as the pro-ams are over.
