NEW UPDATE: WE ARE NOW GOING ON AT PROMPTLY 9PM, AND MAY EVEN START AT 8:45 IF WE CAN, SO COME OUT EARLY TO MAKE SURE YOU GET GOOD PARKING (THE "L" WORKS GREAT TOO!) THERE IS A FANTASTIC AC/DC BAND COMING ON AFTER US, BUT WILL WILL TEAR THE ROOF OFF THE PLACE WITH OUR SET....THERE WILL BE A FEW SONGS PERFORMED THAT WE HAVE NEVER PERFORMED BEFORE. REMEMBER, FROM 8-9 PM...DRINKS ARE ON THE HOUSE! (AND YES, I AM SERIOUS!) WE WILL PLAY FOR 2+ Hours!!!
Hello to everyone!
Let me first say, it has truly been an honor playing music i love with three good friends and great musicians. Tim and I have been playing together ever since we both got our first guitars and Phil and Rob have been playing with us for over five years now.
As you most likely know, my wife and I are expecting our second child in late January/Early February. After that time, I no longer can commit myself to one of my other loves, The Voodoo Pugs.
Tim has secured one of the hottest spots in Chicago for me to say good bye at, HI-TOPS, just across from Wrigley Field.
One thing is for sure....for all of you who said, "Sure, one day I would love to come out and see you guys", well, those days are numbered after Jan 6th, so come on out. It would mean the world to all of us if you helped send us out with a hell of a party.
AS A THANK YOU TO OUR FANS, ANYONE ARRIVING AT THE CLUB BEFORE 9PM CAN ENJOY DRINKS ON THE HOUSE, NO CHARGE, JUST A TIP WOULD BE NECESSARY. It is our way and the clubs way to say thank you.
And finally, i promise you this, you will not see a more inspired performance, we guarantee to leave it all out there for you and will blow the roof off this place with some Stones Music like you have never heard....Songs off the Stones first records and off of their latest record. Please plan on sticking around to the end of the show as it will be a very emotional moment! |

I shall greet each fan at the show Voodoo Pug finale....I am told ticket sales have been brisk (see U2 MSG Run), although, sadly, the Pug Presale was a bust (see Atlanta presale) |

Atlanta should have sold better....sadly, a 17k seat venue will only have 14, 987 in attendance. The mid-week date hurt..but still another 2.5 million to keep on track.

I urge you to paper the room and increase cover charge to $12.50 a head(lerts not have a repeat of the"donation" thread...especially with 3 wardrobe changes, your dry-cleaning bill will exceed net profits). |

sadly, Chicago is no longer a Voodoo Pug town. The show is wide open. I suggest bringing in a U2 cover band to help fill the venue. |

now you see why this is our farewell show. We have been overtaken by U2 tribute bands, Steely Dan Tribute Bands, Los Lonely Boys Tribute Bands, and Creed TRibute Bands. The kids today just dont know good music!

I have never heard them before, but we had to go first in order to get two slots. We will play a double show.....Be prepared for us to start even earlier if the place is filling up and do a quick warm up set. We will play for 2.5 hours and the ACDC band will play for one hour.
The Black Crowes are becoming a tribute band, but sadly have not penetrated the chicago tribute band market.
I shall look into the band recommended by Saint Sway. |
