Met a former colleague of mine last nite in DC.
Same guy that came up for the DC Licks show.
Two Heinekens at his hotel.
Another Heineken at a restuarant.
More than a few glasses of Merlot with dinner.
Two Harps at The Sign of the Whale.
And two more Heineken's after.
Not too shabby a nite! |

Man I picked a bad time to quit drinking. They just passed a new law here in Georgia that raises the alchohol limit in beer to 14 percent ( they call it gourmet beer). This is all that everyone is talking about on radio and TV and paper. Probably not a good night to be driving in Atlanta this first weekend night. |

Bro, I had a little problem going. Only been 4 months sober thus far, but I feel like a miilion bucks. That 14 percent beer looks good though, but I'm cool. Peace out! |

Not me...Drank water yesterday. Too hungover from Saturday night....the occasion?....a 2 1/2 hour late night telephone chat with my good friend Gypsy!! Put two RO ladies on the phone and watch your long distance bill skyrocket!

Hey, LJ! We had a blast. It was like we had known each other for years. I really enjoyed talking to you. It got me off my 'sick bed' for a couple of hours.
I laid out in the sun today...drinking tea w/ limeade, popped a valium and a soma. Re-read some old Stones books. |
