most of the 82 are in nice aud quality as well,much better

charlotte - the tracker url is all that is needed, now - so you dont have to do the double link on your site, but many thanks (again) for helping me when i needed it...
yes, you can make torrents from your sources and use the tracker i have set up to distribute the torrent...

ALL of you who download can help by keeping your clients open as seeds when you are finished, so that you might serve the others...
please do NOT reseed these at ezt immediately. we are trying to set this thing up so it accessible to all stones fans, and not just the people with ezt accounts. of course, i want these to go up over there eventually, but i would like it if we could get these to be larger swarms, and keep them going here for a while, and then an eventuial reseed at ezt after the swarm(s) we are hosting die. so SPREAD THOSE TORRENT FILES 
does that make sense..?

i have noticed a couple of snits in oak78 - one at the begining of miss you, and one in imagination. sorry i didnt note them in the info file. i will post specifics later today - neither is major; in fact, many listeners will probably not recognize them at all...

try making the *.torrent file now (i have enabled external torrents). you will still have to publish and host it, but you can use my tracker...
oh, for the lurkers and trolls - i WILL ban you if you abuse the open tracker and try to host copyrighted material, pr0n, etc. in fact, if your name isn't charlotte, gazza, jaxx, or voodoo, you need to ask me before using the tracker. i dont anticipate a problem, but i wanted to say this up front ;D
looks like i need another edit:
charlotte - is that you..? please name the *.torrent file something other than its hashmark... rsYYYY-MM-DDformat is the defacto naming standard. thanks.

ok -
to make a *.torrent file to be hosted on my tracker, open azereus, go to the file menu, and select "new torrent" - the make torrent window opens up...
drag the directory with all the flacs in it from your file explorer into the make torrent window. you will see it select directory (instead of "single file")...
then select "use external tracker" and enter the url i pm'd you...
then hit next, verify that you are pointing at the correct directory, and hit next...
now it says, please select file to create - leave the dir structure as it is, and check the name (all the way to the right) - it should be the same as the directory you are torrenting...
click the boxes that say "start seeding when done" and "allow decentralized tracker" and click next...
the torrent file will be made, and then you will start seeding...
go to the "my torrents" view, and highlight the torrent you just made and stop it. then right-click it and "publish" it. then force start it (again, from the right-click menu) and you should be in business...

i aint mad at ya...

i gonna go out for a run, and do a few things, but when i come back and seed the chicago78, i will do it by piggybacking on neighbor's wireless connection, just to get the torrent-from-another-machine-on-to-my-tracker thing down...
just keep us up to date, and i will do likewise...

(note that this will not do anything for you in a webbrowser, it is just the info that needs to be entered as the announce url when the *.torrent file is made)

i planned to have the chicago show up by his evening, but just discovered that 8 of the tracks need to be re-tracked. the music is continuous, but they have been split in the wrong spots. it will be up tommorrow...

are you getting creating a file, named rs1972-mm-dd.flac16.torrent" or something similar..? if you are, send me the *.torrent file as an attachment to an email...
i havent checked the external torents - i was about to, and did one last quality check on the chi78 source, and 8 of the tracks need to be joined and resplit - and i dont have time to do it tonight. i will try tomorrow...
however, if you are creating a *.torrent file, send it to me, and i will see what i can do...
you are a trooper for trying so hard today - i would love to help you finish the effort asap

you are doing something wrong when making the *.torrent file...
try using torrentspy, and the tracker url:
"http://rocksoff.kicks-ass.org:6969/announce"
and follow the torrentspy documentation EXACTLY when making the *.torrent file...
then send the resulting *.torrent file to me, and we will try again...

the ip has changed (which is why i wanted to use a name url and not a number)...
i have added the info to the three torrents, but you will have to download the torrent files from the tracker so that they are encoded with the proper url (or you can add "http://rocksoff.kicks-ass.org:6969/announce" to the torrent files you already have...
