marko New one again:Membhis Midsouth Coliseum 28.6.1978.

Hmmm,i remember i had very bad recording of this show.I tought not
worth of seeding.Well, just a few seconds ago,i stopped testing this
cdr i have.It sounds pretty good for 78 audience recording.
No idea where i´ve gotten this,by trade for sure, but from where and
from who,don´t know that.
There is some distortion,so far what i could recognise, but not so much
as it could,it doesn´t bother much.
This simply AUDIENCE recording,no mixed soundboard song.

audiotape(by trade)----nakamichi tapedeck(2 of them)---harman&kardon
20 channel equalizer---philipps standalone burner(twindeck)---waw--
flac---you

cd 1
1 let it rock
2 all down the line
3 honky tonk women
4 starfucker
5 when the whip comes down
6 miss you
7 lies
8 beast of burden
9 just my imagination

cd 2
1 respectable
2 far away eyes
3 love in vain
4 shattered
5 hound dog
6 tumbling dice
7 happy
8 sweet little 16
9 brown sugar
10 jumping jack flash

ENJOY! I´m awfully sorry that i don´t have artwork for this one
either!

axl79 Thanks a lot Marko, for the 78 shows.
I have "Southern Quotation" on LP (complete Greensboro show), seems to be the same as your Greensboro upload, I skip to do the tranfer my self.

I think that there is a Memphis show released on Mighty Diamonds 2003 (Out On Bail) version.
It was seeded here long time ago by "cabledogg2"

SirMuddy Now on the Tracker... (from dime ?)

Thankx to original seeder: Midnrambler!
Dedicated to cabledogg!
and btw: Thankx for Memphis & Greendboro =D
and all the goodies!

here's the info file from that download:

THE ROLLING STONES
Live in Hampton, Coliseum, June 21, 1978

Good - very good audience recording

Taken from the vinyl album "Where The Green Grass Grows" except for "Shattered" and "Happy" which come from a CDR I once got in a trade.
So, unlike the other torrent of this show, this one is the entire show in correct order. And I have declicked the vinyl recording, which is not taken from the other torrent, I got this one long before.

CDR -> EAC (secure) -> FLAC Frontend -> DIME

CD1

1 Let It Rock
2 All Down The Line
3 Honky Tonk Women
4 Star Star
5 Lies
6 Miss You
7 When The Whip Comes Down
8 Beast Of Burden
9 Just My Imagination

CD2

1 Respectable
2 Far Away Eyes
3 Love In Vain
4 Shattered
5 Sweet Little Sixteen
6 Tumbling Dice*
7 Happy*
8 Brown Sugar
9 Jumping Jack Flash

* not on vinyl

*****

It'll be nice to have all of the cd source!
and now... where are Atlanta & Boulder 78 ??

Have a nice time!

marko Thanks a LOT!The one ihave,is not very good,i used to have
the VINYL version too,but i threw it away, because the songs
were in wrong order.
Now we need art work too!
4th April 2008 11:03 AM
Erik_Snow The Hampton 1978 vinyl rip was torrented by midnrambler originally. It's supposedly a very nicely done rip from an EX vinyl, allthough I wasn't able to open the FLAC files, don't know why.
4th April 2008 01:15 PM
marko I can check my atlanta,if i can do something about it,but
i have my doubts. It is pretty bad rcording.

Boulder is ok.usual g-vg.

More SBD tracks than what's on "Handsome Girls" is not in (wide) circulation. And I don't have it either, save for that "sample"; Hound Dog - which Bob N posted a couple of times on IORR. We can only hope. ...it's been my favourite MP3 file for almost a year
But there's an audience recording available of course..
