Parts of the latest Bond (you go Daniel Craig!!)film Casino Royale took place in Montenegro. Romance, deceit, high stakes, higher drama--perfect place for a Stones show.

AOL Arena in Hamburg? No stadium show there...
It IS a stadium, in fact.It was used during the World Cup last year. Stones played there in 2003, I think. Holds almost 60,000 all seated |

No truth in advertising there! |

Fotini..I know it's hard but keep thinkin' positive thoughts!! Stones Machine do not disappoint my friend again!!!!
I think it's best not to hold out false hope. I would tell Fotini to plan for Montenegro...I think it's better that way. |

There is concern that Frankfurt is to be all seated, this combined with this email I've just received;
Fans also have exclusive presale access to experience The Rolling Stones like never before, with a Hot Ticket or Deluxe Travel Package! Your Hot Ticket Package includes one premium ticket, exclusive Rolling Stones "A Bigger Bang" Tour gift item and a collectible laminate. For the ultimate VIP experience, sign up for a Deluxe Travel Package that includes deluxe hotel accommodations, great seats and parties with other global Stones travelers!
Gives the impression there might be a majority of all seated shows. Having 'Hot tickets' usually means on the pitch and not on the stands. |

I'm not trying to be a downer, but I am not that excited..we knew about this tour for a long time and there is very little to be excited about..it is a Euro tour, basically to make up the dates missed b/c KR's accident.....While we can be happy for our Euro friends, what else is there to be excited about? No new stage, no new material, and Keith not even showing up to go through the motions of a pres conference....also, like it or not, I believe attendance will be an issue..and with the record setting Police tour, it will make us look bad.
Joshy...can you read lips?

...affectionately, as always

Thanks so very much Jacques , but to be honest I find traveling abroad a difficult option this time around.
So I'm keeping my chin up and hoping!
Edit: Just called the promoter here. They know nothing. They haven't had any discussions with the Stones and they don't plan on making a proposal either - "for the time being", he said. Yeah, no need to rush man! Sure, we got all the time in the world. How about in two years time, IF they ever tour again? That'd be great!
There's supposed to be an announcement by them, regarding summer gigs in Greece, this Monday. Would it be possible that they're keeping it a secret? Don't think so. He did sound clueless.
Unbelievable lack of organizing skills I knew it. DiDi are the worst you can get in organizing gigs, and they somehow think they're the best.

Maybe that is what the presale is all about. |
