Yes it makes me want one also. I used to drink Bud myself like
a case and a half or more at a one sitting. After a few sessions like
that I got no buzz. But sure was good while it lasted. I think that
day Brian was also high while drinking his Buds according to
what I read but who know if that was true or not. Personally I
would much rather have BRIAN than that Budweiser. (Incidentally
they make Bud where I live, the original site for the brewsky. The
Busch family all lives here in my town. They may travel all over
but they always come back home.) Just thought I would throw that
in there for some unknown reason.

I was looking at that HUGE beautiful picture of Brian at the Monterey Pop Festival from 1967 where he is holding the beer
can and a cigarette, and I just noticed he has TWO cigarettes in
his hand, that is if I am not seeing things? One is lit and the other
is right on top of it. Booze will do that to ya make ya chain smoke.
I heard he liked Kent and Winstons. |

hello all.thanks for the good pics of brian.I'm new and i don't know where inctroduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste.I've got a band and i play guitar and vocals.and we play a lot of stones covers of course!!I really love brian jones and the era when he played.I beghin to collect R.S bootlegs and I'm looking for every brian shows, especially 1967 shows.bye!

Okay now here is what I see so bear with me here.
On that picture of Brian with the beer and cigarette, okay?
Right above or below is one he is smoking is one that is really
short and it may be about an inch or so long it looks as though it
was one he was previously smoking and finished and then started
the one he is smoking now. I smoke myself so it sure looks like
a cigarette to me. I mean it is not any big deal but was really
looking at the details of the picture (HOT HOT HOT) and noticed
it, primarily because it is so BIG and wonderful to look at, right?
Now I could be wrong but it sure looks like a cigarette to me unless it is an optical illusion and it is something else. Check it out.

There is a 3 CD set called More Stoned that You'll Ever Be
and it is from 1963-1974 with a whole load of songs that the
Stones have never released in this particular format. You should
hear the 2120 South Michigan Ave on there. Anyway I got mine
from E-Bay and I am going to get another CD when a friend of
mine gets his and reviews it. I get many t hings on E-Bay and
this particular set may be up for bid again. I don't know where else
one can find it, maybe someone else knows.
Another thing is a really fantastic picture of Brian Jones is on the
cover of Anna Wohlin's book The Murder of Brian Jones. He is
smoking and wearing that white weave sweater and it is so cool
and HOT it is breathtaking. Maybe some one will post it on here
in a LARGE size and NOT IN PURPLE please and with all the
writing gone. That picture and the ones with the white beach robe
are the absolute best. |
