A little over a year or so ago, I went to Chicago to see the Stones at Soldier Field and it was easily, and I don't say this lightly, one of THE coldest nights I have experienced, but also I had this fucking cold that would not quit and snot was so a part of my life that night that I really had to muster some serious inner-nankiness just to cope.
Anyway,
We stayed at the Chicago Hilton.
It was super.
We partied some in the room adn it was the first time I met Mary -- GTRM - and she brought Jack Daniels but I had not drinked or drunk or whatever Jack Daniels in some time.
But
I was sick as hell and stoned as hell and so
I had me a glass of Jack Daniels on THE rocks.
And my snot melted away.
Not completely tho.
Not until the second glass of Dr. Jack
Then my sinus left the room
and I could breathe
I was truly amazed.
I confided in TomL that Jack Daniels was a gift from above
He said it was a gift from Mary
Whatever, what a gift
My daughters are with me tonight
I have not seen them in a while
one fell asleep by the fire I built
the other took the opportunity to go see her boyfriend
(who, from most accounts, is Rain Man)
I took the opportunity to try a little Jack Daniels
and do some drunk posting
I miss drunk posting
it is the best posting
