Dave is at times brilliant and at other times terribly inconsistent - though it was well known Carson favored Dave over Jay big time. Leno annoyed him big time, an annoyance I find completely understandable.

Dave was at his FUNNIEST when his NBC show was ending. He was angry, bitter, petulant & funnier than anyone I've ever seen. Then he took the summer off, returning with that creepy CBS show & he's been a bit dull ever since. I'm surprised he even shows up anymore. His handling of Michael Ricahrds was horrid. |
