I think he regrets the "investigation"/"research" language, he runs at the mouth too much, always has - its probably as he says in A Different Bomb, he couldn't believe it existed, and so readily accessible, so was curious - probably like looking at Holocaust pictures or other morbid material, I suppose. Yes, incredibly bad judgment - but him going after kids? Highly unlikely. |

that doesnt make it right or excuse him though. Studies have shown that those who view child pornography are far more likely (of course not 100%) to become a pedophile. Dumb decision on his part and now he is going to be judged by it. As the old joke says, you can bang a 1000 beautiful women in your life, but if you bang a goat....you are forever known as GoatFucker....Pete may have had the best intentions, but now doubt will always be in the minds of many. |

I don't believe viewing porn makes one a pedophiles..I believe that it is a genetic defect, which may be triggered by viewing porn.
