Rolling Hansie Next Sunday, Oct. 28th, the 10th annual Pancreatic Cancer Walk will take place in Westwood, California. Joni (Tim's Necessary Talent) will join this walk together with family and friends to raise money to fight this deadly cancer. If you want to support her and donate for this good cause (and I am sure you all want to do this), check this website.

Rolling Hansie Stonesgirrl posted a picture on her Voodoo Lounge website of Joni during last year's walk. I found another one. Both pictures were taken at the finish. I thought you would like to see them.

Joni, make sure they can take pictures of you again at the finish this year. Go girl, go

Necessary Talent fireontheplatter... so sorry to hear about your losses to this disease. I didn't even KNOW we HAD a pancrease until Tim was diagnosed. There really needs to be more awareness of this cancer.

Necessary Talent Hansie, clearly you've been on vacation too long, you are losing your mind.... "You look good" Do you SEE that hair!?

Necessary Talent I want to make sure to share this with everyone so excuse my repetition:

I was interviewed during the walk by a Loma-Linda researcher in Pancreatic Cancer who heads a team of 35 and he asked me to tell him about the person I was walking for. First thing I said was "He was husband" Second thing, "He was a STONES fan!" and then I went on to tell him all the things he was to everyone and why he is so missed. He said "and that is what I will remember when I am in the lab until 3am trying to find a cure!" and then we had a great hug.
