At least people who smoke pot just look stupid, dance badly, grin from ear to ear and want to hug all people around them (and I should know!). People on alcohol are a different story altogether, you'll agree on that? They can potentially punch your teeth out, if you're unlucky, but a dope head generally represents no harm....
Why are you so against marihuana? Is it because you find all mind-altering drugs "bad"???. Are you the sort of person who lives by the "my body is a temple"-premise and doesn't do drugs, eats organic food, etc???
Or does it come from being Dutch and constantly being surrounded by idiotic tourists who only come to your country to get high???(now that I understand!)
Personally, I live more by the premise of "my body is an amusement park"! And I have nothing against dope....I know a lot of alcoholics, and personally I think that many more evils in our society arise from the socially acceptable and highly taxed drinking than from any recreational cannabis use , unless we're talking underaged kids and people with a disposition to psychosis....

my very 1st Stones show was opening night in Philly 89. I was staying across the street in the same hotel as the crew. Hung out with a bunch of them before the show and they invited me and my girlfriend up to party in one of their rooms. One of the joints they were passing around turned out to be PCP laced. I was young and just smoked whatever people passed around without even thinking about it... Kinda threw me for a loop for awhile. Not sure how I got into the venue after that...
oh well...that was a lesson learned

I can tell you from personal experience that it is not an urban myth.

I have never heard of someone being told to stop dancing at a concert. Was this concert as Nazi run as reported? What's the deal?

I prefer to smoke dope BEFORE concerts. That way I can be stoned without having to worry about getting kicked out, or not being let in in the first place.
Last year I got searched on my way into an Oasis/jet/Kasabian show. They found my weed! Luckily, they still let me in, but they took it away from me. Lesson learned: smoke thy dope before the show. |
