b) everyone. I don't associate with non-Stones fans so to my knowledge, such creatures don't exist. Hotlicks is the nearest person on this board to me geographically.
c) The Ulster Hall. they already have played here..in 1964..it ended in a riot. http://www.ulsterhall.co.uk/
Its not a club, its a concert hall which holds about 2,000.
theres a newer much hyped concert venue called The Waterfront Hall, but its basically a snobitorium and you could hardly imagine a Stones concert in it.
for a genuine club, the Limelight is the most likely venue:
http://www.djoliver.dsl.pipex.com/html/pictures/limelight.htm
d) Odyssey Arena http://www.odysseyarena.co.uk/
e) Windsor Park http://www.linfield-fc.com/history.asp
f) "Blinded By Rainbows" is written ABOUT my town!
g) Dublin and Glasgow
h) "So from the home of George Best its the Best Rock 'n' Roll Band in The World". He could always sing "The Blues Is Alright" if they played at Windsor Park. alternatively, see question f).

Child of the Moon My first "real" hometown, San Leandro, CA. It borders Oakland, and the Oakland Stadium and Coliseum were pretty much in my backyard, so I'm goign to assume that a lot of Stonesfans reside there.

My second real hometown, Boise, ID. Not sure how many fans reside here. There's one guy on the other side of my block who has a tongue sticker on his truck.

Hannalee This isn't my home town, precisely, it's just where I live.

Reading

and don't believe everything you read on a local council webpage. The most notable thing about the place is that it's not all that far from the original Stargroves.

The nearest fan I know of is Oldkr, but I like to preserve my anonymity and general air of msytery, so I don't exactly seek out others.

Venue-wise there's the Hexagon (smallish, indoor), the Madejski Stadium (biggish, outdoor, home of London Irish!) and the Reading Festival (bigger, very outdoor and avoided by the locals comme la peste).

Anybody seen my daughter? Who's that Voodoo Chile and what the fuck is he doing with Lizzie and Leah at the same time?

They filmed some videos in 1983, 1984 and 1998, Keith got married here, in other city but in the same country, they made the longest stop in the middle of the tour here back in 1998 to rehearse, shoot the "I Go Wild Video" and relax. Many more anecdotes

glencar That looks like a swell place. I've always wanted to visit Argentina.
11-04-03 07:55 PM
Estela It's a very nice country and now, very cheap for foreigners.
I.E.: MacDonalds combo: 2,5 dollars
Bus/subway ticket: 30 cents
Leather jacket: 100 dollars more & less
Cigarrettes Marlboro: 75 cents
Coke in a bar: less than 1 dollar
Leather shoes: 60 dollars
I guess, lodging might have international prices but the rest is absolutely accessible.
You'll be very welcome!

sandrew All right, I can't find the official website for it, but I was born in raised in Absecon, NJ, a little inlet town that borders Atlantic City.

When the Stones played there in '89, they opted against hanging with The Donald and stayed at a beautiful bayside Marriott resort called Seaview.

Mick had emergency dental work done at an office about a mile from my house in Absecon. Oh, it was the talk of the town.

Jumacfly my town: www.ville-montpellier.fr

any stones show? yes, in Grammont, a long plain ,we where nearly 75000 in 1995 to see Dylan, the black crowes and the Boys of course...

Club show: the Rockstore, our temple of rock...i ve seen Frank Black, John Mayall, lucky peterson, rinocerose, the fleshtones, placebo, well its a great place but the sound really sucks...the Black crowes did a surprise gig after the stones show in july 1995...

Stadium: Stade de la mosson, capacity 35500 , our football team is great this year and we re the 6 th team of our league.. the rugby semi finals takes place every year in this place, that s very cool..

Arena: None, except the Zenith, capacity 6000 ...Ben harper was here yesterday night...many pop shows organised here, shitty music for shitty people...our country is not the country of Rn R, but the country of French variety..that sucks and monkey woman, Caro or Jacques can easily confirm...

ps: Egon if one day you want to come you re welcome here like every single bastard of this Board!!

cheers
