andrews27 How could I forget Let it Loose !?

OK, I have to track down some of the '97 Crazy Mamas - the Winnipeg, Charlotte, and Oakland 11-15 B-stage recordings are all on the south side of sucky. I saw the Buffalo version but don't have a boot of it.

In the meantime - DO CRAZY MAMA SOME MORE! The best one I heard is on Doubledoor, Chicago 1997.

I think I'd mess myself if they ever did Winter.

Done in 75 and 77, what, you dont have the El Mocambo DVD?? And you call yourself a real fan
25th September 2007 07:28 PM
Saint Sway I do not have it.

I bet the place went bananas when they played it though. That song can whip even the most jaded fans into wild frenzy. Joint must of got tore up and shit.

i call myself a real fan and i didn't even know a DVD existed - i've heard the audio

anybody can help me get my hands on this little baby?? - if so, much appreciated

Nasty Habits I've never seen any El Macambo video either. Youtube is seriously lacking in this area.

I will join the Had It with You choir, but only if they play it with no bass, on the b-stage, and get into a fistfight at the end. Otherwise I'll just stick with the original, thanks.

Let It Loose.
Cry to Me.
You Can't Catch Me.
Off the Hook.

Does anybody seriously think they're going to play a song screaming over and over again for a "sister" to dance?

"Jump out of Africa with a step that looks so bold "

Yeah. They're going to play THAT one.

25th September 2007 10:16 PM
Throwaway Sorry, I was just messing with Sway. I WISH there were a full length video...not even the audio boot is complete, I think.
25th September 2007 10:31 PM
stonedinaustralia ok... that's why i never heard of it... - good joke!!

you're right, far as i know the audio is incomplete

lol - now that would be something to see

so they have done Moonlight Mile then ?? - where/when and most importantly - did it work??

Throwaway Stoned, it was done on the No Security Tour. Its not bad but the ending is kind of weird and doesnt have the soft, gentle fadeout solo. Lemme look for a Youtube from 99.

Throwaway Sadly I think its been taken down...the closest I can find are some other obscure clips from that tour.

Atlantic City 1989 - all 3 nights, with Axl Rose & Izzy Stradlin (its on the PPV)

Twickenham 2nd show 2003.

Its also on R&R Circus, but they kinda cheated as its a live vocal with a backing track...

Gazza, in your historical wanders have you ever heard whether any footage was even shot? I can never get over how little documentation of those shows there is considering they went there, specifically, to record them for a live album. THey do that in this day and age and they get Martin Scorsese to film the shit. But I think I've only ever seen one photo of them performing.
