Gimme Shelter How many times has everyone seen the Stones? I have seen them eight times. The first in Oakland in '89, the second in Seattle in '94, the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth in Oakland in '97, and the seventh and eight in Sacramento in '99. I'll be at both San Francisco shows this tour and the Oakland show.

Scot Rocks When the time machine gets invented, I want on first!!!!!!

----------------------------------------------------------

"ok, sir u can go back to any great event in history, what will it be? the Egyptians, the dinosaurs, the Romans, Jesus, Noah, the Magna Carta, 1066, Celtic winning the european cup in 1967, the end of ww2, the great hoax moonlanding of apollo, find out who really killed kennedy?"

"emm just drop me in England 1962 and I'll be fine thanks"

"What do u mean, nothing of historical significance happened there"

"Just do it, it's my 10,000,0000 'fuckwit'"

Honky Tonk Man Gazza, i hope you agree with me that Giants Stadium will be the Greatest Stones show on this tour!

Did you get my email? i sent you my new mobile number

Alex
08-25-02 09:33 PM
Gazza Doubt it Alex..because I much prefer smaller shows. MSG isnt intimate by any standards either mind you,but more so than a stadium. the theatre/club shows are the ones to see...once youve seen a club show, you'll never feel the same way about a stadium again! Watching through binoculars or looking at a big screen 60 yards away just isnt the same! But you'll enjoy Giants Stadium,I'm sure!

got the new number OK - cheers

Martha

I'm a latecomer with seeing the Stones live, but I've always loved them.

1. September 27, 1997 "B2B" Horseshoe, Columbus OH
I went mad for them (Live)....instantly and...hit the second show immediately!!!!

2. October 10, 1997 Ericsson Stadium, Charlotte, NC THIS is the best show for me (so far) since we got incredibly CLOSE..21 rows dead center on the floor ..purchased when we arrived (got inside as the first song was playing) tickets at box ofice window were $60.00 each.

3. April 1, 1999 Gund Arena, "NS" Cleveland OH

4. April 3, 1999 Schott, Columbus OH

This tour:

5. October 12, 2002 Ford Field, Detroit MI
(don't have tix yet)

6. October 14, 2002 Gund Arena, Cleveland OH (topped off with a visit to the Rock Hall of course!)..I turn 45 at midnight and am gonna rock like I've never rocked before!

7. October 20, 2002 Nationwide Arena Columbus, OH

May hit more shows...depends on money..etc.

Can't wait!

08-25-02 09:42 PM
