TheSavageYoungXyzzy Damn. Good thing my parents didn't let me go down to New York to see Bob tonight...

I've been checking in with everyone, and yeah, the power's all funky.

But no terrorism, so they say, no fire, everything's just all '77 again.

Bloomberg just announced that it'll be up, "in hours, not minutes", but it'll be up. So we're ok.

Were the Stones playing "Shattered" anywhere?

Keep up with it -

luxury1 It just cracks me up when TheSavageYoungONe talks about getting his parents' permission to do stuff. So young, but so together.

LadyJane Hope all our US Northeast Coast members are doing well. Here in the city of Buffalo we HAD power!! And don't believe everything you hear. There was NO lightning strike at Niagara Falls yesterday. Clear, sunny, hot day!!!

Toronto Tom One night was okay without power. It was fun everyone was outside. Streets where very busy with people walking. My Girlfriend and myself sat out front in chairs for a long time. I had lots of beer and there was plenty of Ice in the freezer. I through it all in the cooler and we had a blast on the front porch. Later we went for a walk. The Power was out at my place from 4:10pm till 2:30am.

Factory Girl Hey Toronto Tom, thats the spirit!

When power went out in my building for the entire weekend (a few years ago), my neighbor and I drank lots of beer and ate grapes.

jb Does it effect the ability to flush your toilet?
08-15-03 10:07 AM
stonedinaustralia jb - how are you this fine miami morning??

the blackouts made the news down/over/across here - it's crazy when you tink about it - who was in charge of the back up generator??
08-15-03 10:19 AM
jb Hello SIA....hope all is well down under. We, surprisingly, were not effected by the blackout. I think the Stone's sound guys are also responsible for the back-up power sources for the continental U.S.....
08-15-03 11:10 AM
stonedinaustralia well at least it's not the beatles fault

and i understand you are to far south to be affcted

jb , i must say, i have noticed an extremely overt sexual tone to your posts of late - you are hard core

08-15-03 11:12 AM
jb LOL SIA.......however, I think you would find me quite tame in person compared to my cyberspace persona!
08-15-03 11:27 AM
stonedinaustralia what you say is extremely profound and probably erroneous...

apart from that what can i say, other than - haven't you got any work to do??

08-15-03 11:42 AM
jb Just finished a mediation on a Lemon Law case(here in most states, if a new car requires 3 or more repairs for the same item and it is not repaired successfully, the owner may seek to have car repurchased by manufactuer/dealer or replaced)....we ended up settling for 12k and keeping automobile...my cut was 3k....

Lemon Law case

LOL!!

what is the latest authority from your Suptreme Court as to what consitutes a "lemon" or have the legislators seized control and provided a statutory definition??

$3k US - isn't that nickel and dime stuff for a man who appreciates the finer points of buggery!!

Sodomizing...

08-15-03 11:54 AM
jb It's a statutory definition.....and these nuisance cases help pay the ovehead...so I can get head.
08-15-03 12:03 PM
stonedinaustralia what did you listen to this morning - was it the stones??
08-15-03 12:12 PM
jb It's pretty much always the Stones....been listening to a fantastic copy of "Philadelphia Special" from 72 tour which one of our felloe board members copied for me....the best version of GS IMO...
08-15-03 12:15 PM

08-15-03 12:32 PM

"i never won a trial by pleading guilty"
08-15-03 12:33 PM
jb But did he have a contingency agreement or hr billing agreement?
08-15-03 12:34 PM
Joey "worried" from el mocambo "

How was Ronnie's solo on that one ?

He played a pretty good solo on " Worried " at Circus Krone .

Fast becoming my favorite boot from the Licks Tour .

Joeskee !

08-15-03 12:38 PM
sirmoonie A wise man once said to me (although I'm sure he heisted it from somewhere):

If you can't beat them on the facts, beat them on the law.
If you can't beat them with the law, beat them with paper.

An even wiser man once said to me: "Who gives a rip? You gonna drink the rest of that or what?"
08-15-03 12:52 PM
stonedinaustralia lol sirM !

ultimately the law comes out of the barrel of a gun - but to keep it as civilized as possible for as long as possible we replace bulletts with paper
