TheSavageYoungXyzzy Jeff Lynne - I think he knows the Stones aren't a keyboard band, but could make them sound crisp and new while at the same time sounding themselves.

If George Martin hadn't gone deaf... no, Martin was and always is The Beatles's producer, and despite his wonderful orchestrations, it just wouldn't fit a rougher style like the Stones. (The White Album is his one exception, but then again, the Beatles were largely experimenting on their own by that time, with him only in if they wanted a specific feel they couldn't make themselves.)

Still, I think I have the solution to this problem.

The Glimmer Twins.

Just produce it your friggin' selves! They know exactly what they want to sound like - do it! Better yet, give Keith the production reins, have Mick advising, and let the engineering team etc. help them out to get the right sound.
