Saint Sway I recommend Rancid fans to pick up Tim Armstrong's new cd.

punk was a movement. But musically, for me, the best ones were just bringing rock back to its stripped down dirty roots

my favorite "punk" bands were always just really great f'in rock bands. The Ramones are just the greatest straight up rock-n-roll band IMO. Same for Social D, The Joneses, Pistols, Stooges, Dolls, Buzzcocks... etc... even Television

Clash were the ones that weren't doing just raw rawk. But they've always been in an elite league of their own. Always will. Genius stuff.
