Really, does it get old @ every game?
I really dug all of the incarnations, McCoy's, Edgar Winter, White Trash, Derringer, Johnny Winter. I never knew his name was Zeheringer, or that his bassist ended up playing with Johnny Winter...

Did you know that Roger Ebert disliked this movie? And that he gave The Godfather Part II, like, 3 oe 2 1/2 stars or something? He couldn't see the humor in A Clockwork Orange either. What a moron!!

Do you know why the world is so fucking wrong? Because people are too serious about themselves. Really. Titanic, a "best picture" oscar? One of the most dreadful experiences I ever had in a movie theater? This film ("Dude, where's my bong?") was destined to NOT receive a "best picture oscar", ever, (unlike that Departed movie cake; just watch Nicholson - is he supposed to be funny? He's playing the "joker", isn't he? Was the director blind during the production? If it's such a "best picture", then why wasn't the original Departed movie awarded in the first place? And, oh yeah, the soundtrack contains the RS, like I hadn't listened to their songs before. Thanks.) but it's so much better in so many bad ways.
And, for a good performance by Nicholson (he's a genius, don't get me wrong; but The Departed is a lame movie) just remember Five Easy Pieces. IMHO, of course.

First off, you need to chill out. Secondly, never ever ever take Roger Ebert seriously. He was clearly a goofball from Day one of that show.

This is a very powerful video.
If one has ever had a realtive
in a nursing home, or hospital,
this rings, no, screams bells.
In any event, this chap hosted
a wildly popular show for over
20 yrs here in the States, had many
great country singers on.
I've included many cuts from this
show in this & previous threads.
He has a past with Johnny Cash as well...
This is from his new lp, which might
just be the country lp of the year....
