LMAO!!

They (the Stones) were gonna use it as the sleeve for the "Hold Back" single. Unfortunately (!) it never happened.

FPM C10 My listening tastes have moved to a different century...after a few weeks straight of Stanley Brothers and other old timey gospel & murder ballads, Miss Youngblood downloaded a podcast of Edison cylinders and we listened to some stuff from 1908 or so. Then SS came down with Johnny Cash at the Town Hall Party and we watched that...it's intense watching Johnny succumb to amphetamine addiction through the course of several shows, and the fact that it was filmed in Compton makes "Don't Take Your Guns To Town" take on a whole different resonance than it did in 1959. "Don't take yer guns t'town, Tupac...leave yer guns at home, Biggie..."

VoodooChileInWOnderl Melvin Taylor and the Slack Band. Melvin is one of the greatest underrated players, I saw him playing for less than 30 people in El Chopo in Mexico City, and one day after at Salón 21 in front of more than 1,200 great gigs. I conducted an interview with him, Magic Slim and Big Time Sarah during that weekend.
