Right, I forgot, you're the only person permitted to express opinion. I've never gone on about "how much I love the Beatles". They were great, yes, but my tastes aren't based on your opinions. Naturally, then, I don't give a rats ass about degree of credibility I hold with you. And with the, once again, growing momentum at which you rudely cut people down for what they decide to share on this board, I wouldn't be the only one that wouldn't let you bother me. I respect the fact that you don't like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and whoever else. Albeit, imo, twisted. I choose to not make a continual public mockery of you. Even in such a case as this.

You may recall this post was generatered with the excitement of someone knowing Bob Dylan was down the hall. Too bad that posts have gone in this direction. I'd be thrilled!

Thank you, Josh. Truly decent of you! Really. After all, we're all "hard-workin' people" getting our Rocks Off.

Sir Stonesalot Wooooweee! Thanks for putting me in my place Doxa!

Even though I wasn't talking to you....I really enjoy it when people interject themselves into conversations that have nothing to do with them. It is such a warm, endearing trait.

Your criticism is greatly appreciated. I am going to change my entire personality just to please you Doxa. I am ever so sorry if I angered or offended you.

And cocksucker...there is nothing wrong with blowing another guy...if you are gay. But SDH is pretending to be straight. Straight guys don't blow other guys. He should just come right out and admit that he's a fag. I have way more respect for people who have the conviction to live life the way they want to live it, than I do for people who lie to themselves and others. I see no reason why someone should be ashamed of being a fag. But I have no time for "in the closet" fags. They have no spine.

So come on Tony, say it loud and proud. You are not fooling anyone.
05-08-03 07:34 PM
steel driving hammer Closet Fags! Brother I"m laughing so loud right now! That was a good one!

I still like to drive by the Gay bars around here after a joint or some beers and yell out the window, "Hey Faggot!"

It's even funnier (sp) when they get pissed off!

M, I'm NOT Gay. I'm just a little more Femmine than you are with your Prickally Butch Ass.

05-08-03 10:33 PM
Sir Stonesalot See now, I am not into being mean to the fags.

And my ass is neither butch nor prickly. It is shapely, white, firm, and hairy.

And no, you may not have it, play with it, touch it, or even dream about it. My ass is much too fine for the likes of you.

And really man, I think a lot of your problems will fade away if you finally just admit that you are queer as a three dollar bill. No one will think any less of you. I know that I couldn't possibly think any less of you than I already do.

steel driving hammer Stop right there
I gotta know right now
Before we go any further
Do you love me
Will you love me forever
Do you need me
Will you never leave me
Will you make me so happy
For the rest of my life
Will you take me away
And will you make me your wife
Do you love me
Will you love me forever
Do you need me
Will you never leave me
Will you make me so happy
For the rest of my life
Will you take me away
And will you make me your wife
I gotta know right now
Before we go any further
Do you love me
Will you love me forever
Let me sleep on it
Baby, baby let me sleep on it
Let me sleep on it
And I'll give you an answer in the morning
Let me sleep on it
Baby, baby let me sleep on it
Let me sleep on it
And I'll give you an answer in the morning
Let me sleep on it
Baby, baby let me sleep on it
Let me sleep on it
And I'll give you an answer in the morning

nankerphelge Bob has left the building.

I never saw him -- I think he was on a different floor actually. Can't say as I blame him. Would you want to be on a floor full of lawyers?

We have a buncha blue heads on the floor now -- some figure skating group (from the 1912 Olympic games apparently).
I think I'll sneak into their rooms when the cleaning ladies are in there and have their all-day Spanktravision turned on for them!

Nothing says welcome to the floor like some good juicy porn!

Hey Sir Stonesalot, I didnt mean anything personal, that wasnt my intention at all! Im sorry if I interrupted something important . Keep talking, guys! (and please Sir, dont change your personality just to please me, though I am flattered LOL)

And to everybody everywhere (yeah, exactly YOU who is reading this in this very moment): Bobby aint over-rated at all, folks! I can not see why there are people who are not able to recognize Bobbys genius. Makes me wonder

Hey, Martha - you never told us how YOUR Dylan show was. Or if you did I missed it.

I'm feeling kinda shaky knowing I'm not scheduled to see Dr. Dylan anytime in the near future. Haven't had a fix since Philly '02. So help me out with a contact high!

Hi FPM C10...You didn't miss it...I didn't post a review of the show..guess I'm a bit shy about doing that. I don't like all the diss that seems to always have to be included in anything Dylan related on this board, so I avoid putting some of my thoughts out there to avoid that negative crap, which I know isn't right on my part. Thanks for reminding me there are people here who do love and want to hear other people's concert reviews (that's were I need to keep my atttention focused on)..I know I certainly do.

The Louisville show was VERY good...even though I could see almost nothing for almost the entire show since it was held in a parking lot (no shit..I almost had a flash-back..lol..everyone was young as hell with a few grey haired hippiefied exceptions...I even got burned right on my elbow by a young drunken girlchild who didn't even stop to see if I was ok...I still have the scab..it hurt like hell the embers stuck right to my skin...ouch!)). Over 8,000 people were crammed in there somehow and I am under 5'-4" so as you might guess I saw a lot of people's heads ...does that count for anything?!?..lol

Nontheless, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to see Bob again after having just seen him in November (right after the Stones and White Stripes gig in Columbus.....a perfect follow-up show if I do say so myself...:-)) at his Dayton, OH gig. When I get to see Bob...I always feel especially blessed to be in his presence..I do not take such things for granted....indeed....it is a blessing in my life.

The show was swingin' and groovin' from the onset as he opened with Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum. I really got into the groove and stayed there throughout the 18 song set (which was a big suprise as the last few sets were 16 total). He did two encores..(just for me I think)...he must have known that I am dealing with some medical problems and decided to send me some healing music. It certainly worked! I am doing so much better already...truly! Thanks Bob!!!

The new guitar replacement for Charlie Sexton(the cute one) impressed both Chris and me. We had heard some negative coments about Freddie, but did not agree with that assement once we saw him performing. In fact, we thought he was very good. Freddie stayed next to Larry all night and did his weaves and leads quite eloquently. He will most certainly continue to get into the band as he continues jammin' night after night! That's the best way to practice after all...ehhh?! :-)

Some big idiot dude somehow ended up on the stage heading directly for Bob during mid-set. Bob simply shuffled away to the center of the stage while his security person ( a bigger dude) came after the idiot dude...and to avoid them the idiot literally dove off stage and into the crowd. Bob, completely nonplussed and unruffled by it shuffled right back to his Fender Rhoades and continued singing exactly where he left off. After all it is HIS patio room...he sure acts that damn comfortable up there! Bob's Oscar was on stage again too...I get a real kick out of that.

The idiot dude part of the show reminded me of the 1996 Grammy Awards ceremony with the soy bomb weirdo who ended up on stage next to Bob...that was absolutely priceless..Bob only barely acknowledged his presence by shifting his eyes for a (literally) split second in the dudes' direction and didn't miss a beat...I've laughed quite often recalling that one!

I remember I kept thinking how GREAT the show sounded overall and luckily, because our taper friend went down to the show with us...I will be getting a good audience recording of it any day now..which I will happily copy for you to help you assauge your Dylan-less timeframe.

Just PM me your snail mail addy! Or e-mail me here:

We look very forward to seeing Dylan with the Dead in August at Germain Amphitheater.

So....can you come on in to Ohio (bring SS with you if you decide to come he needs a Dylan fix too!) for the Dead/Dylan show August 6th????

If you decide to do a road trip you are very welcome to stay at our place....we'd be more than happy to accomodate you! We have plenty of room and live in the peacful countryside...were we can blast the new stereo....all hours of the night and day...and the cops NEVER get a call! LOL That is the one true great thing about living in the middle of nowhere!!!

hugs,
Martha

FPM C10 THANKS, Martha! And don't EVER worry about posting Dylan comments. Although individual tastes vary, I think the general consensus of planet earth is that this Dylan kid shows a lot of promise. And I never worry about posting about him on a Stones board - they are certainly peers, with plenty of shared history.

I never really noticed a lot of negativism toward Bob - it's not like he was a Beatle or anything!

I'm glad to hear the new guy passed muster. I really liked Charlie, but thought that whoever was playing guitar got the short end of the stick because Bob played just about all the solos - so I was really looking forward to seeing this piano thing, thinking Charlie and Larry would finally be left off the leash. Oh well, I've liked ALL the guys that passed thru the band, (remember Winston Watson?) but as long as BOB's still there I'll be happy.

I feel the same as you every time I see Dylan or the Stones - lucky to be alive at the same time. As I'm driving to a Dylan gig I always feel like I'm going to see Abraham Lincoln or Mark Twain or someone.

Thanks for your generous offer - I will certainly consider it!

And take CARE of yourself, dearest Martha! Music absolutely DOES have healing properties, ESPECIALLY Dylan music. And YOU got to see him do "Blind Willie McTell", so I'm sure you'll be 100% in no time!
05-09-03 06:59 PM
Lazy Bones Martha, FPM C10, thank you both for your comments. FPM, you're absolutely right, imo, commments regarding other artists are and should be welcome. Discretion should be used, of course, in relation to the quantity of non-Stones related posts. Sure, many of us have similar tastes outside the Stones' backyard. As regulars, however, I think it's important to continually be aware of the number of visitors to this board - daily. Those folks come here for a Stones injection.
We all know the extents to which the unholy trinity goes to make Rocks Off great on an on-going basis. Visitors and newly registered members provide them, I'm sure, with a greater sense of accomplishment.

Thanks for your review, Martha!

In, replacing Charlie Sexton, btw, is Freddie Koella (seen below).

05-09-03 09:19 PM
Sir Stonesalot dande....he just posted Meatloaf lyrics. If anything I have been OVERestimating SDH's intellect.

I had two dead walnut trees removed from my backyard. I think either one of those trees was smarter than Tony. You know, I used to think that SDH was just putting on an act...until I actually spent some time with the guy. But he is really like that all the time. I used to think it was quaint and funny. Now I realize it's just sad and stupid. Oh well....life moves on.

And SDH is still a fag...and someday he will admit it to himself.
