Seriously, ripping on Matt Clifford or the "Harlem Shuffle" remix doesn't take a whole lot of wit these days. It's the "Rocks Off Message Board" equivalent of a Jay Leno "Stones are old" joke.
You're being lazy, and even worse, boring. Come up with an original zinger next time.
He's a Crowes disciple, originality is not their strong point. |

Biggest mistake next, what a shame |

The single is not important, it will chart for a week and then bye bye, Biggest Mistake, SSMC, it doesn't matter really. |

Biggest Mistake would stand out on any Jagger solo record as being the most noticeably sappy, femine sounding song.
on a Stones album it just makes you cringe.
Feminine? Keep telling yourself that the Stones are actually a butch and macho band. Sometimes i wonder why half of you bother being here instead of on something like a Sepultura board or something 'manly.'
BM incidentaly starts very similarly to Gimme Shelter. How gay! |

I've been posting a lot more lately on the Ozzfest message board. And people think the posts on this board are immature? |

What other Stones songs are gay, then? Do you dislike all their 'gay' songs, and also, how do you justify being a fan of a band with so many gay songs, and such a gay frontman? Because they sure as hell have a LOT of 'gay' songs. And like I said, there are several people who would tell you being gay is liking the Stones. I myself don't mind that "insult", but a lot of you obviously would.
Mr. Rock and Roll himself, Keith, has written more than his share of gay songs, too.

100% agreed. BM being a "gay" song is the most stupid thing I've read here in months. It has one of the best lyrics from Mick in all his career. It´s rare and pleasing to hear him saying the things he says there. If it was something like "oh yeah, I wanna fuck you all night, oh yeah..." you would praise it as a great macho Stones song, wouldn´t you? That is lame.

Whether the Stones actually NEED to release another single or not, isn’t that issue beside the point? Does anyone here not think that maybe The Stones release singles for traditional purposes? They've been releasing them since 1963, so why stop now? They're not like Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. The Stones have been a singles band (as well as albums obviously!) since day one.

Right, they're the second band in UK with the most singles chart entries after Status Quo. |
