I have read before that they enjoy Rio, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, London, Tokyo (circa 1990, not now in the low interest era), and Toronto. I cannot recall the sources.

If Buenos Aires isn't on that list, it oughta be after this last go-round.

I hope so!
BTW, BA were the cheapest tickets of the tour...

The boys earn the same amount around the world.
And you, 'cynical girl', go and pay for your tickets! Mick is hotter than ever, you'll see!

Mick is on fire. Maybe their last tour... Think about it!

glencar They seemed to LOVE playing Harrisburg this tour!
7th April 2006 11:27 AM
Break The Spell Maybe there's secretly something they like about Columbus, as I got to see the live debut of Sway there that year. Or perhaps not, as most of the crowd did not appriciate that one.
7th April 2006 03:30 PM
Spru They seemed to like Pittsburgh this year, as Pearl Jam opened (by far the best opening act of this tour), and they debuted Wild Horses (w/ Vedder), surprised everyone w/ the Get Off My Cloud debut, and played Rocks Off for one of the few times this tour.

I have never heard or read from them directly but I have heard many times from them directly that "It's good to be back. It's good to be here, It's good to be anywhere!" or Fantastic audience” or “Son un público fantástico” etc etc

For the Stones and local promoters it was Monterrey in Mexico. Prices between Las Vegas and NYC/Los Angeles; 38,000 K sold out. Gross sales more than 9M with the cheapest stage, close to the USA, free opening act, the most expensive drinks all over

In my humble experience I have never seen the Stones so happy and enjoying themselves as well as the audience as it was in Buenos Aires this year. And according to many regulars at BdP ( http://rocksoff.org/foro ) it was not as wild as previous tour; but I can give my opinion as I was there only this year.

My humble experience in shows includes the States of New York (1981, 2002), Pennsylvania (1981 yes... opening show), California (1989), Connecticut (1999) and New Jersey (2002), Also Mexico (1995, 1998 and 2006), Buenos Aires (2006) and Monterrey (2006)

But back on topic: Buenos Aires was great for the Rolling Stones, they are like Gods for them and I don't think there's a religion with such an enthusiastic audience. They even use the term "Dioses" (Gods) all time
