Zambrano was completely humiliated today...it will only get worse...they only games the cubs have a chance of winning are slugfests like today, once you get past Zambrano (if he doesnt have a nervous breakdown), you have the worst pitching staff in baseball (see Jerome WIlliams)
True, the Cubs have traditionally done well against the Reds, past few seasons anyway. Wow, now its 12-5. Seems like every time I turn around, the Cubs are scoring today. |

they are doing what is known in the porn industry as "blowing their load" they are buring themselves out so they can go on a scoring drought in the coming weeks. their best pitcher gave up 5 runs in 4 2/3 innings...it will only get worse. |

As an avid baseball fan, I will give both Sox teams their due. BUT, it would be delusional not to think that each win was just an anomaly that will not be repeated in our lifetime.
As far as the Cubs go, blaming a fan in the stands that was going after a legitmate foul ball[that several others were going after and that all of us would be doing the same thing] for losing the opportunity to get to the Series.....well that says it all. There will be many more lifetimes before that anomaly comes to pass.

...a knife to the heart, pug!
Just got back from Vegas where I spent Saturday at Cashman's Field...Cubs vs San Diego. Maddux opened. Great game (Yay! They won!!!). Great place to see a Spring Training game...I highly recommend a trek to any baseball fan.
Hey, nice video clip, btw.
GO CUBS!
