Bones...

I want to avoid my son wishing in his later years that his Dad woulda taken him to see Bob Dylan when he had the chance. Like you regret not seeing that '81 show...y'know?

Damn brain cramps... I thought you wanted to avoid the close-knit musical relationship between father and son. I would say, NOT your style.

Keep up the good work.

Child of the Moon I was very lucky to have heard all of this music when I was really, really young. For a long time I kind of didn't like it - I guess it was a rebellious thing - but that music was always there in the back of my head, and when I finally sat down and listened to groups like the Beatles and the Stones many years later (middle school and high school), it finally stuck. What's funny now is, I'm actually telling my dad what music he should listen to, and it's the same music that was made when he was a kid!

SS - it took me a while to get interested in the blues. You may have to wait as long as high school for that one to really sink in, or at least wait for the kid's first broken heart. :-) I'm just glad my dad had some Robert Johnson discs when I needed them!
