This is all I could find of Dennis Johnson, who died today, way too fucking early at 52. One of my favorite players to watch - this clip and the ones they are showing on ESPN, etc. withing him shooting and jonesing are fucking zip - DJ was all about defense, leadership and playoffs.
Larry Bird once said about DJ: "My best teammate ever" and when Bird spoke, it actually meant something.
I'm going to go hug my freckle faced DJ doll real hard tonight! Sniff....

Sad day indeed Sir Moonie.
We lost a good one today.
You picked about the best clip for DJ's Celt run.
How I miss Johnny Most....I only need to hear him say "Counterfiet Bill Lambeer" once to bring it all back...
Carry On!

Nice find there - Ronnie was a rocker in his own right.

Sometimes it's easy to see why these cats were at one time called "the only band that mattered." I miss the hell of them and you should too!

I miss the hell of them. They were the Brit rockers. We will never see the likes of The Clash ever again.

Too true Moonie, but at least we got Nickelback and Incubus!
Geeesh! Is there any hope?
I don't give a shit what anyone says. There has not been a band since The Clash that could carry their jock strap! Jack White? Sure he's pretty good, but he ain't The Clash. They don't make bands like The Clash anymore. That's a damned shame!
Ok Nelly...this is the gal I was tellin' ya about..her music at least

Did anyone ever have a more soulful voice than Otis Redding?! I mean Mr. Pitiful could flat out bring tears to your eyes at will. I'll never forget seeing Otis At Monterey along with Gimme Shelter for the midnight movies when I was a young buck of only 17. Anyway here's Otis covering the Temps, and doing a fantabulous fugging job of it too!

Here's another just because I feel that you need to see this. That's why.
Why,for love of God,and all that's holy,do they not make music like this anymore?! Can anyone give me a decent answer?.....Didn't think so. So in the meantime dig this.
