Beautiful shots gypsy! As always. If you ever wanted to see the influence of Gram Parsons just look at that outfit that Keith is wearing! Ofcourse you can HEAR the Parsons influence on Wild Horses and countless other great Stones country tracks,but that picture shows that he also influenced Keith's dress for a time. I always that that was Keith's coolest looking stage wardrobe. That and the '72-'75 tours.

Dear Gipsy,
I'll answer in all seriousness:
It is indeed the best Stones shot I've ever seen, and it represents more than any other their pinnacle as artists, and possibly humans.
Many, many years ago, I posted some stoned cartoons to Keith - the smart guy answered promptly with a nice, handwritten letter. Don't underestimate his common sense that much. He has no compulsive/obsesive disorders like some other stones.

Thank you, DB. I'm glad you like the photo. As you can tell, Keith is my favorite Stone. I have never dismissed him as a stupid druggie...I hate to see people who have read nothing about him do that. I think Keith is highly intelligent, witty, and extremely well-read. I'm glad you agree. |
