my iPod works best with my iTunes. And I mange my music well. I've finally gotten used to using it for burning, and I have audacity, switch, Xact and bittorent to do my other music things... I'm pretty happy. Remeber, I use Mac, so if you're a PC Windows user, iTunes might not be the best. I'm doing weekly one on ones at the apple store, dude... these things are amazing.
Even a caveman can do it!

So now that I have this whole thing figured out which torrents are must haves? Is the Sticky Thumbs disk any good? What exactly is it all about? Any others that I should know about? TIA!

all great torrent sites...
and those new Stones torrents are just left and right channels of official tracks, kinda weird IMO.
look for
Unsurpassed Masters vols 1 thru 6
Chess Sessions
Itchy Fingers
Black Box
More Stoned
Get Satisfaction... Best Of BBC
RSVP Beggars Outs
among other studio ones...

That's what I'm sayin'! It ain't easy for me figure this shit out. I just had 8 tracks mastered and they went and killed them.

As for the DVDs I too feel that the disk space required may limit my interest. Is there a way to dump all of these files form your PC once you get them all burned? I mean that would free up some space, right?

the price of external HD's is crashing... 500 gigs for about a buck fifty... that's pretty cheap. $150.00 not a dollar fifty..lol!

How I agree^^!

Know your enemy!
anyone on Mac, is ok - you can hardly fight it(it can be done) - but for PC, it should be a NoNo!
Use open source software when you can. DRM-free (Digital Rights/Restrictions Manager)

Riffhard - congratulations on the learning curve.
you did very well.
