time is on my side So another legendary poster is in effect saying Adios amigos

Good luck Marko in your new life as you work to restore your physical health, find spiritual tranquility, and look to shake off the effects of posting on message boards since 1999. Inner peace is at hand as the dulling tedium of too much cyberspace and T.V,. is gradually left behind & the welcoming embrace of the real world awaits you.

Selfishly I will miss your insight and your posting. Wish I could have benefited more from what used to be called "trees" ( I'm told in this you had few peers) but, alas, I came on board too late & was left only with downloading.

Peace

Sir Stonesalot Oh man.

I don't know what to say...except stay in touch. You are one of the really great things that happened to me over the years on these message boards.

Take care of yourself my brother. I look forward to the day we meet again.

Trey Krimsin Unfortunately, we will lose two things when marko leaves:

- a great RO poster
- a great friend

Get healthy, marko, and take care. You will be missed.

Stonesthrow Marko-- Come to Phoenix. Your health will improve instantly. With your new vitality, you will be able to watch TV, stay on the internet, and sing Karaoke all night long. Or, you can go outside and see all the women in short dresses and bikinis. It also won't be as expensive to mail cd-rs back and forth.

Get/stay well, and don't go silent on us.

So,the time has come.I´m selling our BOTH computers, other
one is allready sold, new one, will go soo.
So nomore internet life for me.I´m VERY fed up with this kind of life.Computers rules your life, way too much,i was a
LOT happier without these fuckers, same goes to phones. This
may sound too over reacting, but thats the way it it.
I´m also so fed up with STONES,that i have better ways, and
better things to do,that sit behind a stupid looking screen
and write about things,we really don´t know about.
Me&and my wife,are going to buy a house,they cost a LOT in
Helsinki area.Lifes too expensive at the moment,i must get rid off ALL my credit cards.House prices starts here around
140000euros,but you have to repair it.The one what were looking for, costs now 135 000,its good price, there i can
start my modelrailroad again, wife,Annie cóuld get her own
karaoke room.
I also have problems with my lungs, not sure is it astma
or not, this can be very serious,or then not.I´ve had daily
headaches nearly past 3months,so something is wrong.
However,i will need laptop i guess,we have to pay the bills. Here, really noone goes to bank anymore, except if you
need a loan.
As what comes to music, stones mainly, they have become old
boring farts, who doesn´t know their own katalog, which is
their biggest mistake of all, what shame!
Not whining about set lists, but guy(s) who doesn´t know own
songs, should really quit.Thats not enjoyable to listen.
I don´t mind mistakes either,they´ve been there.
But i do mind, when a guitarist plays half of the song nicely, then gets completely lost.I don´t wanna hear,or SEE
that.
I have over 1000 shows, from the past,to remind me how great
everything was.
I´m also fed up with downloading/uploading.Its a good way to get some music, but somehow i prefer the old way.
Along the years i traded,i got to MEET some ex persons,i made great friends, not uploading/downloading doesn´t give
you nothing in person,as music is supposed to.
I want get back, how it was.Someways,i will do that.
Best things about computers,is,that i got to meet my friends in USA,and some in europe.
Computer has become a substitute for TV,that really sucks
these days.Theres absolutely nothing. Its even worse than
computer.
But this doesn´t mean, that won´t come back to states again.
I don´t know,or even care, what you think about my whining.
But i came here during fall 1999,and thats a LONG time.
So tought, this is the right place to start, and end.

Hey! Take care of those headaches and keep everything easy.

"See" ya.

Martha Hey Marko,

I am sorry to hear about your health giving you troubles. I certainly understand as I have had health struggles for over 5 years now...but slowly I am getting better with help (a good Dr., great counselor, Chinese medicine and FISH OIL). I hope you can find relief for your breathing and headaches.

I also understand the need to get off the internet. I no longer spend near as much time as I once did on-line.....life keeps happening and I need to address those issues first and foremost.

I thank you for the trees and trades. You out-did yourself darlin'.

May you be blessed and may you find peace.

with affection and love,
Martha

PS jb that was the nicest post EVER! I knew you had it in you! xxoo!

Marko, I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope you get your health issues sorted out and find the peace you're looking for, and I hope you'll stop by once in awhile. I'll never forget your incredible "Pirates of the Vaults"...you da man, Marko. Take care of yourself.

*ginda I'm sorry to hear you're having health problems, Marko. I wish you the best. I'm also surprised you're leaving as you were never one to post mercilessly out of boredom. I've come to accept the inevitable - moderation in all life's dark pleasures really is the key. Damn it.

Quoted for truth and accuracy.

And some don't get that direct reference.

And those same some actually make you look nostalgically back at the days when emoticons were in fashion - at least the blinking visual was slightly mentally stimulating for half a blip.

And they don't get that. Them same some. Them same some don't get that no matter how many redundant, mundane, innocuous and predictable comments they make, they are actually lamer than the half life of a fucking diode controlled, blipping emoticon on a LCD.
