Randy Jo Hobbs - Bass
Bass from 1970 - 1974

He died from drug use at the age of 45 on 5-Aug-1993. They found him in a hotel room in Dayton, Ohio. Bar stories say it seems he just couldn't kick the drugs.
Buried in Union City, Indiana

Bassists get no respect. Until Jack Bruce demanded (and delivered) respect.

Nellcote TTM, DK plays a good bass, on a Gibson V no less.
Did you ever catch them?

Nellcote They were the best.
16 times I caught them, another four during the reunion tour.

Agree.
I ve just heard the original version and it's great and muddy, very intense as well.
The notes are nearly the same as "Hey joe" and "sweet home alabama".
