Recently saw a old performance of them at the Whistle Stop. It's was part of some old BBC stuff they have been showing on VH1 Classic. Never saw them live, but I was pretty blown away watching that show. This VH1 classic shows some pretty good stuff from time to time.

Also have seen Whistle Stop performances by:

Tom Petty-Awesome. Very strange looking as a young man.
Faces
Lynard Skynard
ACDC

A few more names that escape me right now.

sweet, I was at that show! i thought the first two songs - Owner of the World and Polka Dot Rose were the best.

Oysterhead was far and away better than Trey's currwent solo act, though his first solo tour was pretty good (the power trio group).
