Hello my Stonesian Family,
I just sat down for a moment because I knew I needed to wish my Stonesicated family a Happy New Year!!!
And thanks Voodoo for asking that we keep it light and fun and interesting in 2003. That's what keeps me coming back....why I'm here in the first place. For the times I've Iost my cool and shot off my yapper...well, I'll work on that one in 2003....no promises, though,..but I WILL work on it.
I really have fallen in "love" with so many of the people who post here and to be completely frank, my year just woulda' sucked without Rocks Off......of course, having the boys out and touring again certainly helped as well, but that ain't something I can do daily now is it?! I think Stonesdoug did though..gotta figure out how he pulled that off!
I remember sitting here late at night all alone last August (husband workd nights no kids...etc.) in the hottest damn heat I can remember (no AC in my old farmhouse) and laughing my ass off at the hilarious yarns being spun here. God knows it was the only thing that kept me from going mad in the heat.
I feel I am truly blessed, beyond my ability to properly express or to give back, to all of you what you have given to me just by being the Stonesicated people you are. I simply cannot thank you enough.
I wish for you ALL more happiness, health, love, life and peace on earth in 2003.

Yes, the new year is just 2 hours away in NY, and here I am at home. I've been sick for 3 days with some stomach virus and haven't been able to eat or drink much lately. Ringing in the new year completely sober. Wow, is that gonna be strange or what?
Anyway, Happy New Year to all you crazy folks here at Rocks off. It's been a fantastic year with us getting a great tour from the boys with a few gems being thrown at us now and then. I'm glad that some us had the pleasure to meet in person at the NY gigs. You are a special breed of Stones fan and I'm a better person for it. Here's to more shows and parties in 2003!
