Well Well Well....did you all see the snow on the ground???
That means that the end of the year is upon us! The Voodoo Pugs have been very fortunate; due to the hard work of master booking agent Telepug, we have secured a dual headlining bill at Synergy in West Chicago with our friends Kim and Dimitri's band: KK and the Flying Hampsters of Doom (www.ktbmusic.com). KK will go on about 9 PM and we will go on around 10:30 or so.
This is a beautiful club and we really want to give you a great happy holiday party with us. We will be playing many new songs, many old songs, even some stuff from the stones new cd, A Bigger Bang.
So please pass this on to your entire address book (we really appreciate you helping us spread the word!!!) and be ready for a rocking evening!
Also, there are strong rumors that Dimitri and KK will join the PUgs on stage for a song or two???? You will only know if you come on out to see!

yet again, i have been humiliated....thankfully we are using a different booking agency and shall not run into that problem again. Due to the actions of certain individuals, I shall never plan a Rocks Off/Shidoobee preparty featuring live music again. The humiliation would be too much to handle for my family as we will have another child at that point.

After suffering great loss as a result of Hurricane Wilma, my wife currently having complications during her pregnacny, and having not posted anything for the past month or so, it's good to be back.
I truly have loved meeting all my cyber friends from Shidoobee and Rocks-Off on this tour. The people I met were kind, generous, fun- loving people whom I am proud to call friends. They looked past the "character" and saw the real man. It was a pleasure to meet, greet, and treat many of you. With gods help, and your prayers, our baby hopefully will arrive healthy and happy and join our two(2) other beloved children(some of you have already met young Mr. L on tour)as a member of our family.
To John and Joey, you have been real friends during this difficult time. May Christ provide you and your family with good tidings, and to John, wishing a healthy delivery for your wife as well. In the spirit of Jesus, I forgive all of my enemies, and I am sorry for being such a evil person ....I hope god forgives me as well and does not kill this baby because I am such a rotten, piece of shit, obnoxious, lawyer. Please Lord, take me, but spare the unborn child, as my wife could not bear the loss of this precious gift....

who have sent me numerous e-mails, PM's, gift baskets, gift certificates, Citrus fruit, Stone boots(Taylor era), Fruit cakes, Saks gift cards, and the beautiful "Chai" necklace from a very special friend....You are simply the best!!!
P.S.-Memphis had a limited capacity of 13k seats and did not sell out. Approximately 12, 473 attendees. Also, I was correct about ABB not reaching Gold -379k at last count (USA) , and U2 potentially breaking our all time concert gross . Thankfully, Jake Cohl, and the RollingStone Fan club have done a terrific job and many venues have filled up!!! I hope to be able to see some more of you, but if not, it's been a real gas!!!! |

Sadly, jb feels the need to dig up a poor topic from our past. We as a group have decided to not put ourselves in the position to count on others...we are refocused on providing the best show in town on any given night and a fair price. |
