You love Noel and Liam? Ohhhh, wouldn't say that here! Oasis are not THAT big in America and most find Liam arogant, rude and offensive. Hes all three rolled into one!
I think i have posted before about Noels tounges on his Gibson, but no one gives a damn here really.
Im English, so i dont really mind Oasis. Theyare not a great band, but between 94 and 96, they made some good music.

When they released 'Supersonic' I thought they might just be the best group in the world. They weren't - and I never loved them like Suede or the Manic Street Preachers - but some of their songs are great. |

Noel was recently quoted as saying something like "Why can't the Stones just find something else to do?"
The fact is that after two great albums (plus their B side disc), they've made three clunkers in a row, and it's Noel who may need to look for something else.
I love their first two, but the Gallagher brothers are just total assholes, as ignorant as they are arrogant. |

They have no drive or " real " desire for their music. It is very hollow and contrived.. They ran out of ideas after two albums and most of those ideas were really not theirs..That is why the jackass cannot understand why The Stones are still out there making music. The Stones love it and Noel/Liam have no real passion for their music .. They are real ass clowns... The joke is on them.. |

werent people saying the same shit about the Stones after their 1st couple of albums?? Ever see early interviews with Brian, Keith & Mick.... talk about arrogant and cocky!! Brian invented the that rock star ego trip!
fact is, their new album is excellent. They put out some clunkers in between. But those sucked because of their drug excesses. And what cool band isnt guilty of going thru a similiar period?
Love em or hate em. Oasis are one of the last few contemporary bands that are still about rock & roll. Their the last rock stars we have. I say celebrate em. |

Oasis has no prob filling 2500 seat venues. I've seen them at Radio City and the Beacon Theatre. Both were sold out. In Europe they sell out the largest stadiums. Excluding dinosaur classic rock bands, what rock bands are playing bigger venues than Oasis?
Disrespectul? Maybe. But Noel idolizes the Stones. And the majority of his comments about them are praise. |

Florida is the land of the elderly. Its the least rock & roll of any of the states. When was the last time anything there sold out? Does anyone their leave their homes? Theres thousands of empty seats at Heat playoff games!!
anyway, you should give Oasis' version of Street Fighting Man a listen. Pretty cool. |

I figured I'd have no problem the day of the game, but since I'm taking pops, I wanted to make sure I get good seats. I'm on the fence in terms of how much to spend. I'll let you know if I decide to go with the scalpers.

As far as Europe is concerned , Oasis ONLY sells out in England . One week ago ,in Northern France , they performed in front of 2500 people where 6000 were expected !!!!

interesting, there's a couple of guys here - you might rememebr them from the olympics coverage in 2000 - roy & h.g. - they use it a lot and it wasn't heard of here before they started using it - seems they may have picked it from the u.s. or maybe vice versa |
