LOL! Well I tried the best I could...
Actually, his name's Johnny Halliday, and he's been, like, the biggest rockstar in France for the last 40 years or so. His music is exactly what you'd expect from looking at his photos... We're not too proud of our national icon, but what can we do!

Johnny was sittin' just across from me at the Stones' show in Longchamps, Paris in 1995. The place went fuckin' nuts when the crowd spotted him walking to his seat. I think he's a Stones fan and hes much the same age as Mick. He's also been around for much the same length of time.
He's not well known in the UK, but (like Ronnie) there was a South Bank Show special on him on TV here a couple of months ago. It was pretty interesting.

Maine = 0, Maine has yet to turn out a world class rock n' roll band....and I don't see it happening. There's nothing here besides snow, cold, bad weather, assholes and massholes....not that that's any excuse. As much as I bitch about "Massholes" at least they're on the Rock n Roll map. "We" aint.
