How many different natinalities/languages are there in this board? And do you have a nickname for the band in your country? Like in Finland The Stones are shortened as "Rollarit".
A test: everybody say in your language THE STONES KICK ASS!
I'll start with Finnish: ROLLARIT POTKII PERSIILLE!

I don't think we have a abbreviation for them...The Rolling Stones in Dutch would be: De Rollende Stenen!! |
|
|
| mandrack |
in Serbia it will be Kotrljajuce Kamenje-that means like translation-and it is not used very often. |

And it'll be january 8, 2003!

I'm from Greece. The Stones are mostly called "rock's old wolves" on TV / press and just for the record, it is considered a positive remark, not a "wrinkly rocker" kind of thing. Symbolizes wisdom, strength and passion |

I love some of the literal translations from other languages to English.
"The Rolling Stones are the law." Now I wish we said that.
"The Rolling Stones break mothers." See, English just isn't interesting enough. |
