Bloozehound I'd love to see the Glimmer Twins reunite on their next attempt at a new album.
October 26th, 2004 03:20 PM
gypsy The C10...joey on drums, SS on bass, Maxy on lead guitar, nanky as lead singer (he is frontman material, as we all know by now), sirmoonie on cowbell, Steelie on tambourine (in a metal cage and donning go-go boots with his Howe uniform, natch). I'll figure out the rest later.

kath the beatles for sure. if only. but since we're wishing, i'd wish for them to be able to get back together. just for one show. it'd be awesome....

but yeah, in "real life" cream would be my number one hope. jeeez, the mind reels at that possibility.

traffic would be good too.

buffalo springfield

oooh, i just saw somebody mention "the mothers"...gawd...another chance to hear what frank has to say..wouldn't you LOVE to talk to him now???

yeah, there's an "alive" list and a "dead" list i guess....

but in all fairness, the question was "what band would you like to see reunited", it didn't say it had to be actually POSSIBLE for it to happen...

they did reunite for the filthy lucre tour - i, rather foolishly it turns out, decided not go as i thought it wouldn't be any good and would be just a rip off by a bunch of old farts trying to relive their glory days

more fool me as i've since heard recordings of some of the shows and they were brilliant

Impossibles:

The Mothers (specially the 60-70s), the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Small Faces, Humble Pie

Possibles:

The Jeff Beck Group (well with a new drummer and pianist)
The Faces (with a new bassist)

Probably Genesis (with Peter and Steve)

and of course Jefferson Airplane with Jorma, Jack, Grace, Marty, Paul and any drummer
October 26th, 2004 11:03 PM
kath well, grace and marty and paul together again would be awesome in itself..but add jorma and wow!!!

i loved marty balin. he was an exceptional singer.
