A very happy belated birthday to the sweetest poster on RO! Hope ya had a great one Martha. I would have been on time with a B-day greeting, but have been incommunicado per the internet for the last week. NYC SOL perhaps? Stout II? Perhaps?

Thank you all for this wonderful thread. It warms my heart and makes me smile.
Being told I am sweet has a special meaning to me. My Dad who passed 2 years ago this coming Nov. 1st used to call me "Sweetwater" as a nickname. Funny how things come back around.
Riffy I would LOVE to be at a Stout's 2 gathering. I have my fingers crossed!
Thanks again everyone. I wish I could hug and have "herbal tea time" with you all.
Capt. Sway......I knew you'd show up for me! I miss you like the sun.
xxoo,
Martha
PS My Witch Doc called me from the Dylan show in Cincy last night and let me listen to half of the show! My ear was RED from pressing the cell into it. What a gift!
PSS LJ, sorry I didn't get the chance to call from the luncheon. I gave Jaxx your message and she says hello (with a big smile) to you.
PPSS M&M's all around coming up soon Pam! I cannot wait to see you both!!!! |

Sir Nellcote and Bitch! Hugs and kisses to you both! Thank you for helping me keep the flame burning! I went to my girlfriend's 50th b-day party last night so I am still in full swing! I will keep the flame bright and continue to celebrate....I'm not nearly done with this one.
I see our Joey on Friday at HIS Qwest Center with Bob Dylan. Lil' Brian will be in attendance as well, then off to Chicago where I'll see Bob on Saturday, Parmeda is hitting show 2 of 3 on Sunday. And My Mom is coming up for the very last Bob show of the Fall tour MOnday the 29th. She just flew home to OH yesterday. It was in the high 70's and this moring it is SNOWING in CO!
I could stop there.....but no , WAIT......My Witch Dr., is heading West and so is Neil Young to do 2 nights @ the Wells Fargo Theater.
I get to ride the Witch Dr.s "joy train" (don't start with the madness!) . He tours the country with his vintage hand-propelled train ride and attends various train shows. I get to ride all day for FREE! :-) The last time he came a 70 year old man got on a rode it. Once in the seat his face lit up and he looked like a 5 year old boy full of happiness.....and joy. That's when I realized it was The Joy train.
I'm gonna try to get Jaxx to come ride it this year.
I will not stop this celebration 'til it stops itself. I need all the fun I can get!
All aboard!
xxoo,
Martha

Thank you Erik! It's so nice to be 31 again and again and again. LOL
One of my 50th cards says "since life begins at 40 I am now 10 years old! That's about right....in many ways. I don't mind that life is all about continued growth and change....I'm just glad to be here.....or anywhere!
