So Voodoo..
I am confused....
Do you want PM's or not?
Are PM's a good thing?
How does one lose a thread because of PM's, especially if one is the web site curator?

Yes the Private Message utility is a great feature here at the board, use it. The software automatically sends an e-mail to the PM recipient. The user receives a message from [email protected] with subject New PM notification, inside the e-mail a text like this:
You have received a new Private Message. You may read it by going here:

Sincerely,

However, sometimes this goes to the spam folder or the e-mail stored is not the currently used by the recipient so some regulars use to start a new thread like this "Sweety... you have PM" or something like that, that's fine too the only thing I'm asking for is that once the recipient gets the PM either the sender or the recipient must delete that thread as it is not necessary anymore. |
