Kath, we have a responsibility to make traveling a safe experience after the tragedies on 9/11,...One of the ways to do that is by preventing people like Cat Stevens from traveling via plane....we support these efforts and will do so in the future. |

cat stevens is a danger to america????
josh...oh never mind.....like trying to have a reasonable discussion with a brick wall....
this is a new low for you, scrotum!!
from cnn news today
excerpt of article re cat stevens:
On his official Web site, Islam has posted numerous statements in opposition to terrorist attacks, most recently the school seizure in Beslan, Russia that ended with more than 300 people dead -- about half of them children.
Islam also criticized the September 11, 2001, attacks against the United States and donated a portion of the royalties from a four-disc set of his music to the families of the September 11th Fund.
On the Web site, he is associated with three charities: Small Kindness for humanitarian relief; Islamia Schools' Trust for education; and Waqf al Birr Educational Trust for educational research and development and scientific and medical research.

THE EAGLES LYRICS
" New Kid In Town "
( Henley / Frey / Santos )
" There's talk on the street; it sounds so familiar
Great expectations, everybody's watching you
People you meet, they all seem to know you
Even your old friends treat you like you're something new
Steelie come lately, the new kid in town
Everybody loves you, so don't let them down
You look in her eyes; the music begins to play
Hopeless romantics, here we go again
But after awhile, you're lookin' the other way
It's those restless hearts that never mend
Steelie come lately, the new kid in town
Will she still love you when you're not around?
There's so many things you should have told her,
but night after night you're willing to hold her,
Just hold her, tears on your shoulder
There's talk on the street, it's there to
Remind you, that it doesn't really matter
which side you're on.
You're walking away and they're talking behind you
They will never forget you 'til somebody new comes along
Where you been lately? There's a new kid in town
Everybody loves him, don't they?
Now he's holding her, and you're still around
Oh, my, my
There's a new kid in town
Ooh, hoo
Everybody's talking 'bout the new kid in town
Ooh, hoo
Everybody's walking' like the new kid in town
There's a new kid in town
There's a new kid in town
I don't want to hear it
There's a new kid in town
I don't want to hear it
There's a new kid in town
There's a new kid in town
There's a new kid in town ...............( fade to Steelie )

Just for that, next time we meet, I am gonna kick your hairless nutsack into your unswabbed colon.
Posting those lyrics was just uncalled for.
We will never forget your treachery. |

The Eagles : Tequila Sunrise
( Henley /Frey / Santos )
" It's another tequila sunrise
Starin' slowly 'cross the sky, said goobye
He was just a hired hand
Workin' on the dreams he planned to try
The days go by
Ev'ry night when the sun goes down
Just another lonely boy in town
And she's out runnin' 'round
She wasn't just another woman
And I couldn't keep from comin' on
It's been so long
Oh, and it's a hollow feelin' when
It comes down to dealin' friends
It never ends
Take another shot of Steelie
Wonder why the right words never come
You just get numb
It's another tequila sunrise, this old world
still looks the same,
Another frame, mm... "

Just to balance these apparently positive points : here's his official statement on the Rushdie affair (I had no idea he'd been involved in this, BTW), and it's a monument of hypocrisy IMO. I sure wouldn't donate to that guy's charities. But of course I'm not saying he should be considered "a threat to national security" because of that.
Oh, on a side note :
I've heard that towelhead Rush Limbaugh donates $$$$ to terror groups.
I've heard that towelhead Dick Cheney donates $$$$ to terror groups.
I've heard that towelhead Madonna donates $$$$ to terror groups.
I've heard that towelhead Britney Spears donates $$$$ to terror groups.
If I forgot anyone that you particularly dislike, let me know and I'll add'em to the list... |

JB, if your Jewish friends the Kolonists in Israel continue pushing that country into a civil war, it might very well be possible that the Jewish Americans will be the next population thrown out of America. Can't wait for the headlines that read "Barbara Streisand refused on a plane to US".
