Angiegirl Here's my gift to RO: a 4 Flicks Fest with screen shots of the DVD's. I 'downsized' the originals, but still they may take some time to load, depending on your connection...

I say to you: ENJOY!

THey did worse than the French.

Angiegirl I could care less about (Olympic) medals to be honest, Holland did better 4 years ago, but so be it. Josh knows I'm Dutch, he just hopes someone will react, and he got it too!

I've made them with a program called Snag-It I believe, made them last year, so I don't exactly remember. I just played the dvd in my dvd-rom on my pc and started this program. There are hotkeys and whenever I liked an image, I paused the dvd and pressed the hotkey combination to snap the shot, and save them to my machine. Afterwards I edited them with Photoshop.

I was sorting out my cd-r's with pc backups when I found them and got this idea to post them here.

We also have a whole lotta less participants... If you look at it relatively (number of participants in relation to number of inhabitant per country) we always do amazingly good. Look at Belgium which is about the same size as Holland: they ended in 51st place, while Holland got the 17th place. No disrespect to Belgium, just an example...

F505 Unfortunately the Dream Team was eliminated so the medal score for the USA was a great disappointment!
August 30th, 2004 04:16 PM
LadyJane Angie...BRAVO!!!

The pic of Keith and Charlie from the Olympia show should be a header.

It warms my heart to see the Band look so happy.

May I post a few in the Superblow thread???

Thanks so much for sharing!!

FotiniD Happy birthday Angiegirl
Great screenshots. My stupid home connection just allows me a sneak preview cause it takes forever to load, so I can't wait to get to the office and use the adsl line to download all of them Now that's an original motive to go to work, ain't it?

Happy b-day!

August 30th, 2004 05:43 PM
Angiegirl No, it's not free. I don't know about any good free ones. Just search download.com or something.

Angiegirl Luc, I'll see you October 9th in Lede right? I'll formerly apologise to you there .
August 30th, 2004 06:23 PM
L&A Great, can't wait 'till October...
August 30th, 2004 07:18 PM
gypsy Those look great, Angie! I'll have to look up how to do that with the method you used. Right now, I have been playing DVD's on my DVD player, which I plug my camcorder into...then just pause and capture them as stills. I've used it to capture thousands of pics of Anita from her movies, and they've turned out quite well considering her movies are over 35 years old. I can hook the camcorder up to my VCR to get "Performance" stills on VHS...because that movie isn't available on DVD...I wish it were, then I'd have some Mick pics to add to Superblow.
August 30th, 2004 07:24 PM
Angiegirl I think your way is the best Gypsy, but at the time that I made these, I didn't have a DVD player yet, only a DVD-ROM. And I don't have a Camcorder either. Anyway, dvd's are great to get stills from aren't they?
August 30th, 2004 07:32 PM
mac_daddy happy birthday, angiegirl.

it is great to see you around...

thanks for the pics.

corgi37 Australia came 4th. Not bad for a bunch of beer swilling ex convicts. It was our best medal haul ever. Including, the most gold. Bit pathetic, really, when you think of it. All that effort and money for a little shiny trinket.

Thanks for the pics. But, one is missing. We need a Angiegirl on her 30th pic!

Nudity not essential, but definately wanted.
