now that I am lighter, i have better temperature tolerances. Also, I needed the extra pockets for picks/capos/tuners/etc. (see: adda) |

He is from Chicago. I have much family from there and none of them know how to dress in the summer. At least they are not cutoffs. |

close, they were low top Nike's and prescription shades, which sadly due to the thickness, limit me extremely as to which frames will accomodate them. Also, the chain is silver and holds my wedding ring as it is far to large now and I now wear a different band that my wife bought me when we renewed our vows last year. |

Pug,
Heres some free advice they're not going to tell you in your little salesman of the month newsletter:
Its wedding ring. Therefore, you dont wear it around your neck like Wildwood Vinnie Baggodonuts
get it resized. you cheap bastard

What songs did you perform Pug?
And where the hell is the cape? Do you have to wear the cape on a necklace now cuz it's too big? |

I was actually planning on bringing the cape, but forgot to pack it....poor use of ADDA. We played for about 3 hours with several people handling the vocals, more of a "open sing a long". I am forgetting the name of the guy who played bongos/guitar, but Durty Sox (Glenn from Shidoobee handled the electric guitar work. I remember singing:
Sway
CYHMK
Street Fighting Man
Respectable
Bitch
Dead Flowers
No Expectations
We played these songs with several different vocalists:
Honky Tonk Woman
Get Off My Cloud
Little Red Rooster
Under My Thumb
Shine a Light
Brown Sugar
Monkey Man
Wild Horses
Sympathy
Shattered
YCAGWYW
JJF
Monkey Man
Just My Imagination
I am sure there were several others, I can't recall them at this time though

Seems like a good time was had by all. I didn't know you played acoustic guitar until I saw that picture. How did CYHMK turn out? |

better than I thought it would....open tuning on an acoustic is pretty fun to play as you can get some interesting sounds on the rock songs.
Glenn was playing electric on the track as well, I was pretty satisfied with how it turned out, and it did get the largest ovation of any of the tunes I sang....and these were the die hard fans who would be able to pick up on anything that didnt do the original justice (see: Stones performance of It's All Over Now in 1994-95)
Sadly, I am unaware of any video complete with audio that was captured. |
