Being in Dublin Airport and looking at the new ABB CD in the music store before boarding the flight. Going down to my local record store when I got home to buy it later that day.
Getting the train from Glasgow to London the day of the 2nd Twickenham show. Listening to various live bootlegs and ABB all the way down.
Meeting Gazza and a load more at the Cabbage place before Twickenham. Good Stones chat!
Getting a great ticket for the Twickenham show from a tout. Jude Law and Sienna Miller were 2 seats behind me. I hadn't seen The Stones since Dublin 2003 and was sooooooo excited!
Blowing up the big palm trees in the Solid Rock pub in Glasgow before the gig there. Good rocksoff meet up that day before the gig.
Meeting StrayCatUK for a quick pint the night before Slane, good chat about past Stones experiences.
A great gig at Slane, meeting friends new and old. Singing on the bus out to Slane. Getting into the front row for most of the gig.
.......all great memories!

Then there was that mysterious disappearance in between St Louis and Baltimore where the band seemed to fall off the face of the earth. Where did they go and what did they do? We may never find out...

Thanks Paula and to all whom I met on this tour. I am not doing to well physically, but those pictures and memories got these fingers posting once again.
To so many of you whom I met , if only on the way to the "John", or waiting in line to get in the show, or in the hotel lobbies, etc., it was a real pleasure.
I thank you all and wish you all the best. Hopefully, if things turn out as rumored, we may yet again have once last chance to see each other down the road apiece.

Hello Fiji...despite or "adversarial" relationship on the board, I enjoyed meeting you in NYC with my son. I also was thrilled that you got to met the great Charlie Watts. The irony of it all is I spent(I know you hate when I throw throw the#'s out..lol) about 150k last tour, and didn't even get into the fucking "Rattle Snake" Lounge. Then again, spent quality time with Blondie, Chuck, Daryl, Tim Ries, and the rest of the "crew".
Yes, I got the Maserati (Pug barely fit in the front and crushed the Italian leather seats-just kidding!!!) and also just bought the new Sports edition S 550. I will tell you my friend(?), I would give it all away if I felt better. As they say, without your health, you don't have anything. Take care and say hello to Joey for me.
PS-Pug looked great and and it was a pleasure to have lunch with him and his lovely wife when the came down to Florida. Pug is a kind, decent man, and we had a lot of fun over the years on the board. I wish him and his family much happiness and continued success.

Health is important..nothing serious I hope...I was in the ER a few weeks back...made the mistake of telling them I had chest pains...they threw me in a wheelchair and did the EKG and all that stuff...I have two bald spots where they shaved my chest...I have this constant twitching in my left elbow and an intermittent burning sensation on the back of my left arm...nerve impingement I hope...but they do not know what it is...I quit fearing death some time ago
Smell the flowers and whatnot...and don't sweat the stuff that doesn't matter...that's good advice for anyone...hope you get well

The high point for me was spending my 30th birthday celebration with my Parents and wonderful new friends (you know who you are, ladies) in Atlantic City - both times!
I was able to get front row for the B-stage. I can close my eyes and see it all over again. Keith crouching, low strung Fender around the knees...here comes the wicked, wicked opening riffs of HTW...BAM! Atlantic City was the tops.
Another wonderful memory is the first night in Philly. It was my first time getting close to the B-stage (a few rows back...maybe 5) and I nearly broke down crying when the boys got close to me. What a thrill to see the band chugging like a locomotive and Mick dancing and jumping like a devil all on that little B-stage.
I love the Rolling Stones and the range of emotions they bring out of me. They are my heroes. God Bless them.

Mick looked RIGHT at me and Keith was on Fire !!!!!
I was just ' inches ' away from both of them

GTRM, that set list was fine but the band seemed rather lackluster that night. The later MSG shows were much, much better.

This was a tour of mixed emotions.
Had the thrill to once again hit an opener, and got two great Chicago shows even though I was sick as hell during the cold one! And of course NYC -- great times had by all non across the street pouters.
But I also had to sell tickets to DC, Charlottesville and Hershey because of a trial. Like shooting your kids, selling them tickets!
And there were other dramas including the Tele incident, the AC incident, and the Pug-in-cape incident.
All horribly etched in my mind and, with respect to the Pug-in-cape incident, in my retinas.
Got to meet a lot of good people here along the way though:
jb in Boston
Feej, She Rat, Pammy & poopy, Starbuck, Boomy, glencar, pug in Chicago I
egon, P-Dog, martha & chris, Meg (who pinched my ass incidently), and Peggy in NYC
how could I forget - GTRM in Chicago II (luv ya)
Chevy Sales, Saint Sway, mac Daddy (I think) in AC I
Jumping Jack and Stones Security in AC II
and of course, the usual suspects along the way:
Gazza
Jaxxy
Maxlugar & Maxmeister
SS
LJ
TomL (my bruddah)
scope & mrs. scope
riffy
throbby and what's her name
I'm sure I missed others due to cold medications that I was taking along the way.
