I was in Sec 31 for Fenway #1 and I happened to be standing next to a guy who was at his 17th show. We had a nice time chatting. ANYWAY... from our location we could just see the people going up the stairs to the on-stage boxes. Once they got there, this guy and I looked at each other and just said, I think our seats are better than those even! And we weren't wrong once the show got under way... those poor bastards were stuck in those balconies with bright lights shining right behind them and they were looking down on the band's heads and backs. These people got cheated, in my opinion cuz they didn't have the joy of seeing the big beautiful stage set come to life!
After seeing how those people in the on-stage boxes were pretty much ignored, had a behind-and-above-the band view, and didn't get to see the full production of the stage, I wouldn't take an on-stage ticket if it was free! I wanna SEE the show! |

throbby, you did an EXCELLENT job on the photos. None of the big name agencies did as good of a job as you did. Getty had a few close-ups that were decent; but as far as getting the entire band and stage, you take the cake. Wonderful job! Thanks so much for sharing them with us! |

Thank you guys! I just wanted to share my good fortune of being so close. I took quite a few photos and if I'm able this weekend I'll post some more. They were simply amazing Sunday night. They had great sound, and a tremendous groove through most of the show.

Night time was a highlight for me. Lisa, after all these rock n roll tours, seems to have lost some of the operatic value to her voice, and is now better suited for belting some bluesy R&B. It was smoking, and she pushes Mick to get more gutteral.

Egon, invite some innocent-looking (preferably female) blonde friend to the show and hand her your camera, they won't even search her bag (well it worked for me!)
